@@Krazy4KVs still running the capra trans, it's been fine with underdrive ring and pinions and a 1400kv revolver.

Is maybe taking those heavy portal covers off and changing for something a little lighter an option? And changing that heavy receiver box or mounting it closer to the front and down as low as u can get it. Will help to balance out ur F-B weight ratio and make ur bands work better without wearing them out so fast.

Yep that's an option. If I wanted ultimate performance I'd ditch the receiver box but still want some of the cool factor. I have flat rails with lexan bodies if I want something lighter. Nice to have this a little different. Those portal covers are kind of a necessity to offset cage weight unfortunately I think. I might play around with it though!

do you ever use internal springs under the piston?? it accomplishes the same... i run one spring under and one over, that way the shock rides right in the middle of the travel... it has half to compress... half to extend...

I never have but I'm familiar with the technology. Honestly the idea of complete disassembly to tune shocks is what's kept me from them. Just something I'll have to bite the bullet on one day. The only rig I've had with that is the ascent and it was was too stiff. Like a mini valve spring haha plus limited the stroke a bit

So would you buy the 90mm bands for a 90mm shock? Kinda confused on what length band goes with what length shock regarding the proper function of them.

Yep. He has some fine print somewhere that says the length of the band is intended for the same length shocks
