Our local Costco had them for $49.99 so I picked up one yesterday. It will climb just about anything except for carpeted stairs. Great job on the video.

@@RickysGarageVibes Yes well Costco has some amazing things that go for much less then other stores. This maybe an RC that you might pay well over 100 dollars in other stores. I noticed that a lot by Flash item sales at Costco. May never see them again in their stores.

Your lucky its rare for me to find rocky places where i live but i drove on steep hills and the rc make it its good for the price

I bought mine at Costco and drove the crap out of it for 3 weeks. I take it on hikes and it's a blast. I bought another one for my son. Today, both their steering servos dies within 30 mins of each other. These don't last long. But for 50 bucks it's a steal.

@@RickysGarageVibes Yeah, when I went back for the second one, they said some guy just drove in with a truck and bought 10 of them. I got the last one. :( I'll probably just replace the servo with a better one. The one that it had was pretty weak.

Tell us what servo you used, lots of people want to change parts because it's a great RC

@@RickysGarageVibes Uneducated in the ways of servos, I bought two servos and took the truck apart. I read on Amazon a guy replaced them, but by the time I had the servos in hand his comment was gone. I gave up and bought trx 4 sport. I still have both trucks and may try to get the servo in there. One issue is that I got a two wire servo and the computer is a five wire.

You ever consider making it all wheel steering? It's set up for it. Just add servo and wiring. I'm contiplating it. Just for fun.

Found this vid while searching for a new Kid Galaxy(KG) Red Rock Climber... had this truck for about 2 years and my remote gave out. Spring broke, only turns the tires to the left now. Has anyone had luck changing servo or receiver yet? 😅🤞 I contacted KG and they're sending me a replacement transmitter and said they don't make these anymore, so unless costco bought them all out and still has some stashed away in their warehouse, we may never see these again. But i love this crawler. It's also about the size of the Traxxas Xmaxx, i was blown away when i found this rc and sad when i found out about its demise.

Did this fix your problem? I have this exact one, brand new battery park and remote and it’ll drive for 20-30 seconds then it stops until I turn the truck off and back on and it just repeats that.

You can try calling Kid Galaxy for these parts or buy another Costco RC since they are in stores now

If you really wanted to you could probably make new ones, all you need for it is a hexagon shape and a hole small enough for the screw

unfortunately I don't think they sell replacement parts, it's a one time buy at Costco ... the size is unconventional so I don't think after market wheels/tires will fit

Hello, I purchased this same RC truck on an online auction and it did not come with a charger. Soooo, I'm going to find one but what I'm hoping you can help me with is I cannot find the charging port anywhere on this truck I have been all over it and I'm stumped. can you PLEASE point me in the right direction.

The charging port is NOT on the truck itself, you have to take the batteries out to charge them in the charger. If you have trouble finding a charger with the same size/voltage/etc then there are some NewBright vehicles that use the same type of batteries, you may need to change the battery connector. Keep me up to date on how it goes

Thank you for the quick reply, I ordered a new bright charger off eBay. Looked like battery run time was about 40 minutes. Just thought it would have to have an external port for charging as taking the battery out every time would be a pain in the butt. After awhile I would believe strip your screw holes. Guess it is what it is. Thanks again

@@Cottenballs yeah it is what it is unfortunately ... if you do happen to strip the screw holes then you can switch to velcro - they also sell velcro straps or you can make your own

Mud is rare where I live ... it’s not waterproof so might be one time drive lol
