Cool video, It really shows how a subs bows are prone to raise after a torpedo shot. Interesting.

HAha, i just love how one of the torpedos turns around and almost hit the submarin! Great vid!
@reyganbriggs67852 жыл бұрын
The scary thing is, that actually happened several times. The gyroscope messed up on firing and it spun around and hit a number of u-boats.

That is so very cool!!! Great job with your sub and torpideo firing!!

Kinda sucks when 2 of 5 of your torps hit your own boat ... ;) Excellent job always fun to see live firing RC!

I love the drift up on the bow that's true to the real sub!! nice job!! Outstanding!

Dude nice video. Make another one the same but with the camera faced in the direction of the torpedos path. That would be awesome to see

Seeing this patrolling around in a pool and getting multiple aagles of torpedos firing while under power or manuvering would be Super-Fantastic ...Whew ..had to take a breath lol.

I really enjoyed the one that comes back toward the sub!

It could also be the counter wieght moveing inside the sub to counteract the sudden loss of wieght.

I'm not sure if he followed a build from scratch instructions by I give mad respect to this guy for building. I wanna see him but a boat in the water any try and shoot it!
@gizmon22114 жыл бұрын
@morearrows i may also be shoving the sub back because it is made out of a lighter material and the push of the torps must be a factor, but when the torpedos are launched, the sub loses come of its weight and starts to float, as is does not have enough ballast to stay under
@deutschlandairsoft59808 жыл бұрын
Could you make a tutorial on how you did that?

The weight of the rc submarine is comparatively light so the momentum rocks it, but not for the real one.
@jerrymail14 жыл бұрын
How does it work? Do the torpedoes have an engine? Or they are just moved by air pressure during the shot?

That structure was intended for cutting nets that were deployed for protecting harbours from torpedoes and subs.
@Tomiver1614 жыл бұрын
I am working on something like this but in 1/72 scale. The only problem is I can't fit servos in it to lunch the torpedos ! So you need to pull a wire on the stern to fire!

Have you fired the torpedo while under attack speed? And about how much deflection did it have after launch? I ask because it is rocking quite a bit once it fires the torpedo off. But it is cool as all get out!

Could you get a shot of the sub from the right front and far away moving forward and firing torpedoes. I need a shot like that for a video. Also, could you get a shot of a torpedo from under and above water with the above water in front of a color screen like a green screen. Thanks.

What makes the Nose rise on Launch? Ballast or "Equal & Opposite reaction" stuff? Cool as all Hell
@seansean96757 жыл бұрын
a ballets issue. prob from the gas escaping from the torpedo. as the boat quickly settles again and it happens from the stern tube as well
@laszu71377 жыл бұрын
This happened in real life as well. Gravitational force acting on the torpedo keeps the submarine submerged. When torpedo is launched submarine needs to take another cca. 1000 Kg of water in to stay underwaser.
@Darthbelal7 жыл бұрын
The sub lightens with the loss of the torpedo and the water taken into the tube doesn't quite compensate for the loss of weight experienced with the firing of the torpedo. So there is a slight rise in the sub until the weight can be compensated for......
@BadgerOfTheSea14 жыл бұрын
it's a bit odd that a sub has a re-coil
@GoatZilla14 жыл бұрын
Can you please cite your source on this? Because water is incredibly hard to compress; you get less than 2% compression at 6000 PSI I believe. Please cite your source.
