@@Slothptimal Only non-defence structures won't re-appear in mission 7, so at most you can take only one of them out. Everything else will be back

the speed of getting the engineers going also plays a part. I did this a few times and they amassed quite a number of units by then. Hence breaking the wall first and then hitting the first turret. haha in the end I wedged myself in there and made a base and had a long game.
