LOL - I am in the middle of a similar build after removing the stock electronics. I started by trying two Fusions, but they were much too long. I then did Holmes V3 1800kv Revolvers with two Castle SW4 esc's. This drove nicely but the noise, while tolerable on 2S was unbearable at 3S or 4S. I've now got two of the 80a Rhino esc's ready to try. Though the Furitek Python X is also interesting...

Haven't put them in yet. Have been busy beating up Axial SCX10ii that has a Mamba X and a Castle 4600kv motor in it. Needless to say, I think I've cooked the rear axle - so I need to take it apart. That means all 4 of my crawlers are down for repairs. I'm left with an Bomber with extra grippy tires and a 3300kv HW Axe system which if I am honest, is my best climber by far. Also, I need to find the panhard parts for a "cheap" carbon fibre crawler I have that is going to get a snubnose Revolver and that Furitek Python X I mentioned above. Obviously, I have hit that point in RC where I have too many projects and not near enough motivation to get it through. Wish I had a mechanic buddy who enjoyed the monkey work...

Decided to go for 2 x s 12 1900 rhino motors and the combo esc. Will have to keep my fingers crossed that I made a good choice. Will post video up on Nigel's rc channel

At that time I was using a Spektrum DX5R Pro but I've since switched to the radiomaster MT12.

I have a old losi comp crawler with the MOA conversion, I would love to upgrade to a better chassis for my axels, but holy shit rc4wd wants $180 for this chassis with nothing but the main body. not even shocks.
