I purchased the fusion pro 2300kv for my new trx4 sport after the first time I took it out. What a difference. You were one of the guys I watched with other reviews showing it off that convinced me to buy it. Thank you for that!!! I consider that motor upgrade essential for any of my future crawler purchases
@RCReviewChannel Жыл бұрын
I'm glad you like it. It has soooo many applications, from comp crawlers to heavy, scale trucks. Such a versatile and powerful motor/esc that doesn't take up much room and dollars.

looks good, have a look at the A&M garage skid for a bit more clearance. I've been warned to check the mesh on the axles and shim them with anything more powerful than the stock motor. It might be worth giving them a good look over,.

Thank you for that. @jjm2948. Stainless steel is actually best for sliding on rocks. Next is plastic, then steel. The worst is aluminum.

What's up...I just bought it and I love it but the suspension is too hard. RC4WD is aware of this problem in their chassis but has not corrected it and the solution they sell is too expensive. RC4WD Teraflex Revolver Shackle Your Price: $35.99 per set and 4 sets are needed. to Optimize the suspension. Excellent video.! Beautiful cars!

It's not a problem its realism. Big difference. You need a 4 link truck not rc4wd.
@dc9808Ай бұрын
love the look of this truck and you always do great videos with tasteful and appropriate mods. However that truck is $570? For $400 I would buy the fms 1/10th scale K5 all day long, true electronic lockers, dig function and every bit as good looking scale body. You took away the one advantage that truck had as a scale feature... the small block chevy v8!

If you want to lower it use the leaf under kit instead of just cramming short shocks on compressed leaf springs....

It will be fine since in a lot of trail crawlers, we CANNOT tell the difference between the Fusion SE and the Fusion Pro. Just a little less top speed.

Shorter shocks on a leaf spring truck will not lower it. That truck has lift blocks in between the axle and the leaf springs you're going to have to take out the lift blocks out. For any trail finder chassis mods the goto is a&m garage
@RCReviewChannel Жыл бұрын
Currently, when you push down on the vehicle, the shocks are slammed. They are definitely the limiting factor under compression. Will check after that to see if there's anything else limiting it. There's another channel on youtube of a guy doing a lot of work on this K5. I'll post a link when i find it.

Can I use a Hobbywing fusion pro in an SCX10 Gladiator without having to use a new transmitter and receiver? I am pretty sure the answer is no.
@DoubleADay Жыл бұрын
It just replaces your motor and esc, not the receiver. It should not be a problem for you
@JD-tl7ld Жыл бұрын
@@DoubleADay The scx10 III gladiator has the esc and receiver in one. I know with some of the small 24th scale Axials you can still use the 2 in 1s with a brushless motor, but I don't think you can with the 10th scale.

I like RC4WD, and I like this truck very much, but that brushless system will blow up those axles, guaranteed. Weakest axles in this whole hobby.
@RCReviewChannel Жыл бұрын
These are the K44 axles and they seem strong and smooth. Good steering angle too. They have the XVD reinforced steel driveshaft so it's good. The Yota axles I had on my Toyota pickup were definitely not as strong as these.
@brokennib1 Жыл бұрын
The Yota 2 axles definitely have some weak links, like the hubs, which stripped out pretty quick. (had to helicoil the threads to repair) But you dont know until ya break'em, lol That's part of the fun! Keep us posted!@@RCReviewChannel

@@TheCleaner6969I do agree to some extent it is sad that the industry puts out a product that it doesn't stand behind 100% because it doesn't continue to produce vital replacement parts that will keep the rig running much longer that being said I did notice when they have a popular platform that has an immense following they tend to keep those parts of available. At the end of the day it's a supply and demand thing.
