Someone else was complaining about the mirrors on these trucks too. If you ever see these trucks in real life, that’s exactly what the factory mirrors look like.

Great review and video👍 Super truck too!😄 Love those scale wheels, but the chrome trim rings are going to be vulnerable. A nice opportunity to detail that Chevy motor as well, but that means the truck is crying out for an ESS Dual engine sound system with the small block Chevy loaded in!😄

mate that looks awesome. the problem with black bodys is the mud keeps re appearing no matter how much you clean it😂 and we know how you love mud🤘🏻 the tyres look good too are you trying them on anything else?

And that is how you run a super scale truck im seriously considering buying this one but its definitely on the expensive side im gonna try and get the fcx10 blazer and fcx18 k10 before i pull the strings to buy this gorgeous rig im also considering the Toyota version as well its a tuff call if i could id buy all the rcs i like lol 570 is a steep price considering i can probably buy the two rigs i want for about the same price as this one alone but its definitely on my wish list

Thanks very much 👍 🤣 Nope, had to be done...plus I was curious on the tyres in the mud. 👍 The woods are about 30 mins away, beach is about an hour. Super windy down there, hence the music. 👍

The optional grill was included with the original blue K10, and I had one included with the K5 Rust Bucket version also. Gutted about the scale engine though but already 3D printed one for mine 😊

Hello, how are you doing? If you remove the leaf springs, what do you recommend to make the suspension softer? Is that enough? thanks in advance.

I started having a look at the suspension. I think the stock shocks are too short, so if you remove another leaf, you get way more flex, but the shorter shock limits travel. Also on the front the steering servo placement means the servo arm hits the diff housing, so that really limits movement. I think what I may try is longer shocks, but keep the one leaf per side and see what that's like. 👍

@@DoURC I'm going to try it to see how it goes... You know, I really appreciate that you could answer my concern. I love the Killerbody toyota LC LC70, and there is not a single video, none on all of KZbin that tells how to mount that kit on the RC4W TF2 chassis and that the truck is not high... not a single video that says: buy these pieces and these wheels with these rubbers so that it doesn't look so giant but is still a Crawler.

Difficult question tbh, as they're very different rigs. The RC4WD is more about scale to me, whereas the FCX10 is about performance. For what I use my rigs for, I think I'd pick the FCX10. Looks wise the RC4WD is much nicer, but the FCX10 way outperforms it and is better value for money. 👍 I'd still pick my TRX4 over both of them though. 🤣😁👍

Nah you gotta leave the leaf springs in place, it's performing and behaving exactly how leaf sprung vehicles do, just buy another body and put it on a different chassis otherwise the whole point of this scale truck is lost.

I'm playing with different setups atm to retain the leaf springs, but with nicer movement. On the front the limiting factor is actually the axle to steering servo clearance which there's not a massive amount I can do with that.

Looks great scale wise but not much in to super scale looks like that SBG guy or Harley designs. I just prefer my TRX-4 Defender and Gen 8 Axe and how they perform for me.

Yeah it's a really nice truck. Can't beat a TRX4 Defender though, my favourite rig of all I own. 👍😎 I've got a Gen 8, great rigs aren't they. 👍

@@DoURCyeah absolutely indeed they are great rigs my TRX-4 Defender and Gen 8 Axe. I downsized my fleet, sold my trx4 sport with Traxx and Arrma Big Rock. I want to fund my lens that I wanted I'm a part time pro photographer/ video producer as my 2nd job and also buy my daughter a new laptop for university...lots of things in priorities before my hobbies, but rc hobbies are with me the rest of life.
