Took me a few try’s to get a strong enough servo. But I eventually put a 80 or 90 dollar savox servo with blue metal casing and coreless motor. Finally strong enough to turn the tires under the weight of the truck

Thanks for watching! A better servo is definitely a bonus. Just be careful when you upgrade the servo. My Reefs444 broke the steering link. Appreciate you sharing Love my Marlin crawler, I did the revolver shackles all the way around and the Z box just on the back Front of the leaf springs, and the upgraded shackle bracket for the back so it doesn't go backwards and lock up seems to work out pretty good I've been wanting to cut the doors just like the real marlin grower well appreciate you sharing I will watch for more I did subscribe to your channel happy trailing

Thanks for the Sub man. I appreciate it. My Marlin is alot different now than this video. I absolutely love the platform. I would love to cut the doors and get good at working with the hardbody myself. Unfortunately time is against me and I find performance overrules looks because of time restraints. CA glue and drywall mesh right away. The screw holes will now outlast the rest of the body.

Your leaf springs are stacked backwards. Your set up will cause them to hand up.

Leafs are on correctly. It is the geometry of the factory rear leaf mounts. Since my truck released they have updated the rear leaf mounts in the newer Marlinsto prevent this. This was also a well known issue with the standard TF2. I replaced them with Bowhouse ones and the hang up is not a problem. It hasn't happened since.

They now come with 2s for axles. Like the other guy said your leafs are incorrect. Not only will they hang up like that you are not getting the full use of the leafs when the shorter leafs are in bottom and not inside the largest leaf. Every single bit of the leaf past the mounting screws is doing absolutely nothing except for providing a hangup spot. You say whatever you please, they are definitely incorrect as shown in the video. The smaller leafs need to be inside that way they remain in full contact with the leaf under it at all times.

The short small spring isn't even on the truck. The springs are correct. I only run 2 springs front and rear. The shorter spring goes on the bottom against the axle. The spring that mounts to the shackles goes on top that way the truck weight is supported. Considering I have competed with the biggest names in the RC4WD competition scene including rc4wd team drivers and not a single one of them run the leafs any different than myself. The only time we use small springs on top is to help with anti wrap ever so slightly. Really doesn't help much. Anti wrap bar does a terrific job of that.
