Nice straight forward video. Well done. I'm a visual learner so this saves me from having to read the manual, and learn by trial and error.

Some tips: 1. recalibrate at about 60 uses 2. If you take the black plastic tray off recalibrate. 3. watch out for any air pressing down on the pan, like a fan. I've seen my breathing on the machine throw it off by a some when I was leaning too close.

Good coverage...I just set mine up today and played with it a bit...I'm also trying the McDonalds Straw Hack...this helped with over charging. There is also a helpful video on programming the machine to dispense faster...I've done this and it works perfectly. You can find the video on KZbin as well. I believe the title is How to Super Charge your Chargemaster.

Great video, appreciate the tips, used mine only once, didn't know about emptying the hopper each time. I'm going to read the manual now.

On remembering to close the drain, I forget once then grabbed a black sharpie and wrote on the lid of the powder chamber "CLOSE DRAIN", I see this reminder every time I go to add powder now.

calibration also becomes more accurate if you place the weight exactly in the middle of the scale dish instead of off to the side. another thing that helps is having a single 100 grain weight. best/cheapest way to get check weights is buying a old fashioned style balance with the two dishes, they usually come with a set of weights in a protective case. I got my old fashioned balance set, new from the store, at $25.

I needed to refresh my (alleged) memory to do some loading and your video brought it back for me. Many thanks! I think I have only left the drain knob open once and apparently that was enough for me to remember to close it, time will tell. Ultra important not to leave unused powder in the silo. Even if you only use one powder..drain it and empty out the metering tube. This is especially important if multiple powders are used. Any powder left in the silo will "weld" itself to the plastic tube and base. Now how do I know that? Thanks again.

Wish I had seen this when it was new. At around 9:00 you're discussing how the charge weight might be off after the cartridge count goes away and the weight returns to the display. You seem to dismiss the significance of +/- 2 or 3 grains as only being an accuracy problem and it won't affect whether the shot goes off. Mr. Luv1911, +/- 2 or 3 grains is the entire range of an acceptable powder charge for some cartridges. That could lead a new reloader to think that being off 2 or 3 grains is ok. IT IS NOT! The proper thing to say at that point is that an overcharge could send the pressure dangerously high and the charge should be returned to the hopper. Other than that, it is a nice overview of the Chargemaster.

2 or 3 TENTHS of a grain is not going to blow up a round. You said GRAINS...he was talking about TENTHS! He strives to have it dead on....and what he stated was that if you were off 2 or 3 TENTHS that it wasnt going to prevent the finished bullet from firing!
@David-hm9ic
@David-hm9ic 5 жыл бұрын
@@philroberts6274 Agreed, 2 or three TENTHS isn't or at least shouldn't be critical and wouldn't keep the finished ROUND from firing. But he didn't say TENTHS. He said GRAINS. --TWICE. I went back and replayed that section of the video and he clearly said GRAINS; not tenths. It doesn't matter what he meant when giving that kind of information about reloading; what was actually said is what matters. Being precise is as important in verbal communication as it is in the actual reloading process. --But then I've only been reloading safely since 1978 and I do own and use a Chargemaster 1500.

@@David-hm9ic After re-listening to the video..you are correct. 10ths were not mentioned. However...with all the other visual aids and verbage...hopefully..no one assumed that. I think the key was to have it perfect...and that was went over pretty well. But you are correct.

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!
