TA05 is a legend kit. Tamiya gave this kit so much love with different variations and hop-ups

Hi, I'm also about to use this model for 17.5 club races in Rome, I wanted to ask you which joints you use both front and rear. mi piacerebbe montare dei doppio snodo, ma quanti millimetri? 44? 46? Also can you recommend a spare parts store? Thanks!

Sorry I cannot recall, I already sold the TA05. It depends on the suspension blocks you use and how wide or narrow your setup is. I just used regular CVD front and rear.

@rccartips2 жыл бұрын
I would go with front spool and rear gear diff. Tires is most important then body.
@bootztechrc48812 жыл бұрын
@@rccartips front spool I can still find, I'm worried that rear diff I wont be able to find. It is a bevel gear diff correct? Is there another tamiya chassis that will fit?

No experience myself, but my friend runs one and looks good. Most cars would perform well, a matter of 1. tires, 2. traction sauce, 3. body shape, 4. setup (springs, roll centers, flex).
@kajex1rc3512 жыл бұрын
@@rccartips Am in process of getting everything ready,. The tires are 24mm street compound from Ride. The surface looks like hi density foam, am not sure if they saucing but sana may Gold ditto for summer outdoor. Body shape allowed for the USGT stock class doesn't permit the slick bodies. Setup is last. Salamat....so exciting!💥 💯

HeyJoel, agree totally that the latest and greatest isn't always the fastest. 😁 Noticed that you wound the front steering knuckles and turnbuckles with steel wires. My guess is this helps prevents the ball cups from popping out?

Yes, thin soldering wires to prevent popping out.
