What if I only have a cable with 4 colors and not 5? I want to take the cable from the car that came with the original stereo but it only has 4 cables and they are Green, Brown, Orange and Blue I have not been able to get the adapter that you have since I am from Mexico and they do not sell it If it is possible to connect my cable, what should be the order to connect?

I did everything in the video and I still can’t get it work. Whenever I connect the rear USB nothing happens. I have to remove the soldering to get the front USB to work again. Any suggestions as to where I might be wrong? I followed the mentioned instructions carefully.

The pre-USB will no longer work, depending on how the USB works. Only devices connected at the end of the USB cable are recognized.

@@ddren8 haha, no i meant soldered for the USB. i.e (RED=5V, WHITE=D-, GREEN=D+, BLACK=GND) there is an extra Black pin you soldered on the left? 11:40

@@ddren8 I ordered and received upgraded cables Green-Orange-Brown-Blue-Black. Do I put the black on the right pin. The orientation for this new cable has black on the right

@@Rali272 Green=Red. Orange=White.Brown=Green.Blue=Black. This is the color contrast between the new wire and the old wire. Another shielded cable with a black thermochromatic tube can be connected on the left or right side. The new yellow Fakra connector supports the original VW USB cable which continues to work.
