When arrma had the bad clips on the 4s axles I took one of those fuel hose clamps that you pinch with pliers to open and cut them into little individual rings. They were much stronger but I used a little CA glue to hold them from sliding around. They are still on my outcast to this day
@gratefuldabs977515 күн бұрын
You can also use a little heat shrink to keep the clamp from falling off

I’ve been into RC cars and buggies for well over 20 years now, I’ve got a few HSP’s, Arrma’s, Corally’s and Hyper go’s. Not much of any parts are stocked in hobby shops in Western Australia, and they can be a long drive away. Most Hobby shops seem to have lots of Traxxas stuff though. So to keep my RC vehicles going i have to order online or find a way to fix it. Parts online takes forever so I usually order extra . I recon Arrma and Corally are fantastic, I might get a Traxxas next but everything breaks, My Arrma Typhon chassis bent last week, that’s a two to four week wait. Your repair on the Corally drive shaft is excellent , good job 👍

It is your honest, “no holds bar” so to speak, opinions in your reviews, is the main reason of what keeps me around and sometimes donating to your videos. @rcguygarage Team Corally is a great brand with great cars right up there with Arrma. Arrma is more durable and has the parts network but with the two Corally's I own I only had to replaced the knuckles of old design. Not like some I know I paid money for my cars/trucks so I'm at the other end of trashing them to death and then blame the manufacturer. Yes your videos are fun! With yourself, a little over board and lead to, the abuse and trashing was a design flaw. I have been following you a long time and I have seen you do this with Arrma and Traxxas. Yeah I see ratings!
@rcguygarage15 күн бұрын
@rccarsandmusic2641 I guess I'm misunderstanding what your point is. Each and every reaction interaction I have with anything can be treated like fresh and new. I could care less about ratings views if you're saying I'm doing things for ratings you're wrong. I do this to have fun point blank. That's it. Each and every day I laugh and have fun no matter what. Life is way too freaking short guy to be a pill. I'd much rather have smiles for Miles. 👍💯
@rcguygarage15 күн бұрын
@rccarsandmusic2641 Don't forget for some the trashing to death is the whole point. It prevents someone from potentially doing something that could land them into some fairly sizable trouble. There used to be a term going postal. I'm sure you were aware of that. I have a very short fuse and that fuse can be spontaneously combusted so I would rather take one of these toys and have fun with it instead of resorting to a different way of being that I am no longer a part of. 👍💯
@rcguygarage15 күн бұрын
@@rccarsandmusic2641 as far as a "great brand" For me, I'm sure it's a good brand or okay finding parts for a TC in my location is just about as easy as getting parts for an MJX or a hobby toy grade RC and if enough people make enough complaints, maybe TC will figure out how to make the parts more readily available in the states such as making these vehicles show up in more hobby shops. Who knows?

HEY GUY. IS THAT CHARGER ANY GOOD ?? FAST - SLOW ??
@rcguygarage15 күн бұрын
@@johnmiller4553 in my experience this is a good value priced charger that gets the job done. I always have these chargers on max amps output to the pack and the pack just accepts whatever it wants or the charger provides seemingly what the pack will take. ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS, NOT GUYS 👍💯 originally I used the t240 Duo and that was great and I still have four of them. Only one has failed on a channel but that is AC and it still functions on DC power which is a good thing cuz that has become. I guess a travel charger. The 400 provides more power. No, I do not have any accurate way to measure any of this. I am just basing this off of fizzle experience. You cannot realistically faster charge these batteries in my opinion cuz that's what I think becomes the hazard. Lipo batteries are like a holiday season parking lot is how they get charged. The Fuller they get the slower they go 😂🤣
