I love how these style of planes slide through turns and in the air, it just looks cool. Most planes will quickly crab, n these will too, but they are so sleek they kinda slide (for lack of a better term), in a controlled manner (if u know what ur doing) n it looks cool. I love this thing, I've been eyeing it for a bit and wanna scoop one up before they are gone forever. They are on sale now, wwll pnp model anyway. $329. Even tho a few years ago a plane with receiver of this type would be at best, $299. Inflation is an absolute B****.

after landing - flaps up to settle the tail down ? I don't understand. Why would you not pin the tail to the ground with the elevator and leave the flaps down to help slow the plane down so it does not run off the runway ?

Raising the flaps does pin the tail on the ground more quickly without making the plane want to fly again.

This plane is so much fun to fly. A big load of crap that retracts have been on back order for nearly 3 months and have 6 to 8 weeks before being back in stock. Especially, considering mine is currently grounded with broken retract and it’s killing me because I love this plane.
@todtalk3912
@todtalk3912 Жыл бұрын
No offense, but fly it on grass?? Throw it up in the air, n then when u land just make sure you come in easy, and dont give it any throttle and you will not break the prop, any throttle and you will def break the prop. Also, you can add reinforcement to the bottom if you so choose to fly it often to prevent it from getting nicked up and scuffed. Tape, simply enough, works. Can even do some sort of super thin moldable foam, for rc planes, and mold a little belly pan, basically, on it. Something like that. With these little planes stuff breaks all the time, esp if ur not always perfect with them, which who is.

I purchase a brand new plane on the 4th of September, and I had to contact Horizon customer service for a lot of problems with it. I got a case number, and I sent a bill of purchase copies, along with description, and photos of all the problems. But since, absolutely no news ????? Have not heard anything about the gear but like all models, you need to land at the right speed etc otherwise you risk breaking the gear. The problem with electrics is the short flight time and the marginal weight gain wouldn't even be noticeable based on what I'm seeing here - and you could add a minute or two at mixed throttle flying on a 7000. True for that money I'd look into getting a molded carbon airframe and really go fast 180mph+

Thats simply false. This model is Ultra high quality, assembles with 6 screws & flys like a bat out of hell! You are simply incorrect!

Thumbs down for when he said how EASY it is to land! NOT true unless you have been flying for YEARS! They lost my confidence!

It is easy, but it is challenging... there is a difference:) I had many poor landings in this video... notice that my flights are unedited so you can believe in what you are seeing!

If fact, the very first guy to land on a aircraft carrier said the following paraphrase: landing on an aircraft carrier is not hard, its actually fun, but its very demanding.

This plane is not for passes. Also notice that he's landing in about a 20 mph wind. That makes even the most awesome plane a challenge to land. This plane looks as easy to land as any tail dragged war bird. Every e flight plane's are awesome and great flying 👍

One thing that does make it easy to land just like the V900 is that the elevator throw is not high and with flaps you can land this deadsticking it. But your touchdown has to be good to perfect to not bend the struts or knock the screws, that secure the strut to the retract motor loose, which is probably the biggest con about this plane. In terms of maintenance for me, there is not one thing I have to perform more than removing the gear to either bend it back into position, or tighten the motor screws holding the gear in.

Landing gear is extremely weak. Grass will ruin it even with good landings
