Fms do make some of the nicest propellor blades as you said Rich.... its just a shame that in the V4 they dont fit into the prop hub very easily or very well. I had to screw mine all together and then pull it all apart again because the 2 hub halves would not seat properly. Added a touch of lubricant on the second assembly attempt and this helped close it up. However the whole prop and hub assembly still had a fair bit of vibration factor on spinning it up under power. Quality control issue. 2 other issues I had with my build was that the forward ( longer ) vertical tail fixing screw did not bite into anything. Had to glue front half in to secure, and it came with yellow paint all over the servos and the fuselage top and bottom led's. Its a good thing they look so good and fly so nice.

Actually I like that they are tight... but yes, sometimes you have from them a bit to get them to fit:)

I've had several PNP planes but never a FMS. My concern is and always has been how they secure the servo into the wings for aileron? Flown for yrs and am pretty aggressive with manuevers..I usually wind up ripping out the wing servo over time with these foamies. I usually build a servo box now for my foamies just like my Nitro stunt planes. Losing rudder, steering, retracts, even elevator control can oft be flight recovered, but lose a aileron servo; you can say goodbye to the plane.

Pretty much every FMS aircraft has servo boxes in the wings nowadays so no more glued in servo’s to rip out, simply undo a couple of screws and swap out the defective servo!

You are right. This is done very poorly as I just purchased one, and not only was the servo poorly secured, it was stripped at the gear box. No more FMS products for me.

Hey Rich this plane has many quality control issues. I just purchased one and found faulty servos and missing hardware. I do not recommended this one. I am avoiding all FMS products for now until they work out the quality control issues.

Is the ground clearance any better than the V3? The prop hits the ground on a bumpy grass field with the V3

very nice looking airplane, but the color is wrong. operational t-28's were white andinternational orange, not red. what paint is safe for the edo foam?

I have had no problems with it unless I slam it into a grass runway... the nose strut can collapse if you have a hard landing on a grass surface. Otherwise the gear is great if you land it well: )

RCINFORMER Thanks ! Some folks were talking about the front landing gear not being strong. I had an old V1 so this looks like a great upgrade. Nice flight video too! Love the new motor and ESC.

They are both great, but I prefer the larger one. I think it flys a bit better, more scale, and is more powerful.

What kind of receiver do you use

RCINFORMER we used a spectrum receiver and the flaps and alerons move together

its possible you have a program in the radio that is causing them to work together... clear the memory and try it again..... OR..... it is possible that the factory put the flap and aileron connectors on the wrong port... you may have to check the correct wires are plugged in the correct ports on the airplane main board or on the wing junction box....
