Nice plane. I noticed the gear door as well, but I have to say I love the working shocks and the quality hardware on the control surfaces. I own an E-flite Carbon Z T-28 and they lack considerably on both points ! They should follow fms's example & upgrade for sure. Other than that I love my T-28

I have the Eflight T-28 Trojan 1.2m w/70A ESC, beautiful flying very nice plane, but the nose gear system is an afterthought. I like this "upgrade" and bigger version. I think I see a navigation light on the port side leading edge, but on their website, I don't see it mentioned.

Hmm, looks good, I wanted them to do an upgraded version of this aircraft. Although, I see that the rh landing gear door got pulled out of alignment by your landing: is it really that vulnerable?

+Richard Haynes I was landing hard in tall grass... our field was closed that day for an event so we went to the park instead. Taller grass can grab those doors and turn them, but they just turn back into place:)

How to keep front wheel going straight while taxing? If it steers to the left I adjust it a bit to the right, then it goes to the right and so forth. Is there a easier way to adjust it, or just use the rudder to keep it straight. Thanks for your help.
@RCINFORMER Жыл бұрын
You can mechanically adjust it so it is centered, or if you have a spare channel & a knob on your transmitter, plug your nose wheel servo onto the spare channel & assign it to a steering know. The mix the servos with the rudder being the master & the nose steering servo being the slave.

It's always a pleasure to stumble across a really good flight demo of an aircraft that you are looking to purchase. Or even one that you simply have an interest in, and this is one of those demos. Do you know maybe if FMS has any plans to build a giant version of the T-28? I'd really like to buy the E-Flight Carbon Z, but I've heard multiple complaints about detail and cheap parts. Just the two blade prop alone is a turn off to me. Thanks for your time!
@RCINFORMER8 жыл бұрын
+Chordmerchant Not sure if they will make one that large... however, that big T-28 flys great. At RCInformer, We usually get all the new FMS planes direct from the factory before they are put into mass production. We product test everything for the factory and help them resolve issues to help make the planes better prior to production. This also gives us an opportunity to shoot a few videos not only for the factory video, but a more realistic unedited video so everyone can really get a good feel for the plane... We always try to keep the videos as genuine and unedited as we can...... Thanks for watching:)

Hello friends. thank you for your excellent videos.. on the manual it is recommended to use a 4s battery, but it is also written that the t28 can fly in 5 or 6s without modification.. what do you think?

About 5 to 7 minutes. The T-28 is probably a bit easier to takeoff & land with.

Just set mine up. Super scared to maiden. I have plenty of hours on 4s planes, I can handle v900 just fine at 130mph but the weight of this plane scares me. Not even sure what battery to use as 6s is aroung 800 g. Any recommend? No flap to elevator mix listed in namual either 🤔
@RCINFORMER3 жыл бұрын
Whilst it is capable of 6s it will fly beautifully with a 4s 3000 in and is super stable like all T-28’s. Fantastic model one of the best Wi-Fi when it comes to T-28’s. As far as flap settings are concerned we all do it differently but if you can send me a message via the Rcinformer Facebook page and ask me to have a look what I have set for it once I get near my radio I will have a look and let you know:) be sure to let me know exactly what plane I’m looking at because I’ve got a number of people asking for different settings all the time:)

Is it necessary to use up elevator on take offs with the tricycle gear?
@RCINFORMER6 жыл бұрын
ScragbyteRC depends on the plane. It's common practice to hold the stick back while taxiing on grass or dirt with the a tricycle gear airplane to help prevent the nose wheel from digging into the ground too much

Sorry, me again, did you have any balance problems? because I seem to be needing to add tail-weight in order to get the CofG near to spec. I'm trying a 3200 at 366g 12.9oz and still would need to add 2oz to the tail in order to get a CofG of 75mm, 5mm in front of the specced CofG. It's VERY worrying.
