There is lipo and neckle metal mode on the ESC read the manual tells you how it works.
@gourobkundu21734 жыл бұрын
Bro, the current drawn will be off the charts. Look when you cycle in a really high gear, you cannot accelerate fast enough. Even after reaching a point cannot increase your speed. This is exactly what happens with the slash. After a point, the motor paired with the super high gear cannot provide the necessary torque to propel it to higher speeds. Also there may be a overstrain protection in the b esc. Go brushless. BTW loving your content, From India. Also , forgot to mention, those connector adapters are just a makeshift thing. They increase the overall resistance and cause lower top speeds and that limping at full throttle.
@RCKnockout4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! You’re definitely right about that Bro! Lol 😂
@NathanStorer-RC3 жыл бұрын
I'd say it's a safety mode. With the bigger gear on, it's going to try to draw more current from the battery. Traxxas' batteries generally only have a 30c discharge rate, and you have a 60c discharge rate, so your potential current is higher. You probably need to either find lighter tires, or go to a brushless setup and a slightly smaller gear.
@RCKnockout3 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct! It was going into some sort of limp mode probably caused by the current draw that the esc was demanding

All traxxas ESCs have that Lipo Safe thing. Read the instructions to turn that feature off. When LSM is off the light on the ESC is solid red, not green. The threshold is quite low for that low voltage protection, especially with 2S. I run mine without that protection and just pay close attention to power loss so I don't kill my batteries.
