Happy 4th Nolan, hard for me get back into slashes I enjoyed them when I was your age , those hoove Batts are great . I did buy the 5200 100c after those 5200 60c . They were alot bigger but lasted alot longer . They are 80$ for 2 but I think best batteries I've owned far as usage. Alot factors when talking about batteries life . I'm using in close proximity so not as hard as open areas heating them up

@@RCKnockout yes I know sounds odd , I actually thought I was buying the same ones bc they were both 5200 mah . One went bad so I was ordering the same so I thought . 100c ones are bigger and won't fit in alot of the smaller rcs though , they're little longer

I run a 3200 spektrum on 23/54 gearing and it doesn’t get hot to touch. It also flies!!!

I just ran that motor on 4s in a 4wd heavy buggy and kept it 100 degrees ,but with fans heatsink , I may try 5 and 6s just for a couple speed passes , I hated that motor with the clogging and overheating but I solved it with fans ultimately I can use larger gcan motor for more torque , what most people do with the dbpro

I have that same setup on my two wheel drive /same body but I have street tires on and I have the same speed meter I've had that for almost 8 months now and I have 32 pitch gears as well but a 54 and a 22 pinion I'm getting 61 mph with the blue bug body on it 😉😁

@@RCKnockout I just put the speed gear on my two wheel drive rustler 76 spur 31 pinion running a 2s100c zee battery 50mph I haven't tried the 3s battery yet I'm hoping I hit the 70+ mark😁

Put you some anaconda street tires on ur slash makes a big difference in miles per hour too

I tried to speed Hawks tires they're smaller than the anacondas I got 5 miles an hour slower than the anacondas

It is good if you have experince with this rc if you have nog experince with a slash 2wd thans mabay a bad thing to removing the body

Big time….if you ran the same gearing with 48p gears….you’ll probably be going 1/3 less speed compared to this…maybe more

Low gearing it shouldn't, make sure bearings are good motor is clean and your mesh is correct . A 5$ heatsink does alot 15$ with a Lil fan

You have a 2wd vxl 3s system ? If you notice he’s running the ESC fan, seems to really work great. I’d imagine it’s your ESC over heating before your motor. 🤷🏻‍♂️
