This filter is not for removal of TDS but mainly used for other impurities like sand and muck . You can see the wire mesh size in the inner filter and understand what it can filter and what it cannot What is your purpose. This is simply a strainer . If you want to remove TDS ,hardness and salty taste this is not the thing you can use
