I would just run a fan of the right size from hot racing. Also make sure your gearing is right. Sometimes a tooth lower will keep those temps in check.

I just put the max8 G2 combo in my new xray xt8-e, it runs great, but you should get the censored motor for it, thats kinda the whole point of the G2.

@@johnsakowski3531 So far ok. The motor could use a fan. I am running a 15t pinion for bashing and it did get to hot once. But only one time. I think with a fan the thing will be fine.

No I have not. I hit 79 and my goal was 80 so I am pretty happy with that. I am going back to stock gearing until I get the m2c motor mount.
