I think an important factor you didn't mention is that it's a covered ride, meaning guests will still queue for it during rain. Stuff like this, the Manor, and the Observation Tower have a big advantage over things like the Ferris Wheel because of that.

I love the back story on the music too. It's from a record that Chris Sawyer's father owned. It's taken a lot of work, but most of that has been done years ago. I very rarely build a park specifically for a video. I either use old parks that have the ride I want footage of already in them, or I build a ride in an already existing park (like with the double deck carousel here). Also sometimes I just use the prebuilts that come with the game. This video has footage of quite a few real life parks. Edit: I should mention I do use parks I built more recently on stream quite a lot. Streaming is also working and a source of income, so I don't consider building those parks as work put into the videos.

I like the circus for this. It's a cheap all-weather ride with a high capacity, so it's good for reducing crowding, especially during the rain. It's pretty bad at basically everything else, though, like most flat rides. The observation tower is also all-weather, I think, and can actually see decent stats and profits if you spam scenery like crazy. The double-decker gives it a high capacity if it's available.

Scenario without merry go round is significantly harder in difficulty due to lack of Fairground Organ Theme's unique guest thought bonus, generous 45 guest generation bonus, fairly high popularity despite of being gentle ride, rain proofed ride advantage, and the most importantly, loss of player motivation. Even for practicality, Merry Go Round is the ride that player must build as the first ride.

I hope to see a similar video for the Ferris Wheel! Guests complain about wanting to get off even with only 1 rotation and I’d like to know why.
@arioctober2 жыл бұрын
In my experience this happens when the Ferris Wheel breaks down, so the guests spend longer than 1 rotation on the ride. Even if the ride is fixed very quickly, they tend to complain. For anyone loving the music as much as I do, the music is from The Bressingam Voigt. This is what I believe to be the original LP that RCT used: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2KXfKuhpLibjcU (Side A) and kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZbXoGyPrq5oatk (Side B) here are some other high quality recordings from the original fairground organ that played the music kzbin.info/aero/PLLISQy9l1YUkoDjICeWn_Mnuucls6NUp9 From the description of those recordings: This recording was made in 1973 at Bressingham when the organ was in the ownership of the Bloom family, it was made in 1930 for Hans konrad and made its first appearance at the Munich Octoberfest of that year. The organ was then sold at the start of the war to a buyer in Austria, Hans Konrad hoping the Voigt would be safe there. After the war the organ played in a park in Prague for many years before eventualy being imported to England. The Bloom family purchased the organ from a dealer in Yorkshire (after it had had 3 owners in about 2 years). I can remember that when the organ arrived at Bressingham there was very little playable music with it and Flora Bloom went to see Heinrich Voigt in Germany to purchase more music. The bandmaster was also supplied by Heinrich Voigt for Mrs. Bloom, who described him as a "charming man" The younger generation will know the sounds of this organ from the game "Rollercoaster Tycoon" The organ is now restored and playing beautiful, owned by my friend Herman Riddering of Garmerwolde, Nederlands. www.riddering.nl/
