Nailed it with the proof of concept. Even a burnt clutch is worth proving the truck can tow even if you swap the electric motor for a gas.

I like your quick disconnect 5th wheel adapter idea, nice ! 👍 I was thinking of getting the traditional rear bumper frame hitch option after seeing your set up I now know what I want thank you 🙂 I like what you said “remove the factory clips n remove the 5th wheel bracket n like it was never there” 👍 sweet ! So cause of the clutch it has less pulling power compared to the factory battery F450 set up ?

Yeah well the electric motor has no clutch. The nitro conversion is using a basic two shoe clutch

Hi Tank....it's sweet. i drop a real trailer from a semi before...it was a good thing my boss didnt catch me. He did catch me doing a180 oneday....the damn train was 3-5 miles long..idk i was only 1/4 mile from the shop and had to drive back towards the shop. He block the road and gave me a tongue lashing... i was like...WTF, it's Shiet N People getting in my way of progress day :-P

If you lower the gear ratio in the truck it would make it so have a little more torque to move that little easier you loosen speed but gain torque
