RD25286vid. Ruislip Lido Railway 2023 Gala, part 14.

RD25286vid. The 12 inch gauge Ruislip Lido Railway in Middlesex, north west London held a gala weekend on the 13th and 14th May, 2023. I went along on the Saturday and had a great time riding on and videoing the trains.
This is the final part of the video footage that I shot whilst there and it covers a steam hauled double-header as it arrives at Willow Lawn from Woody Bay - initially, in complete darkness as the platform lights were turned off to heighten the sense of anticipation.
When the lights come back on they reveal 2-4-0ST+T MAD BESS leading visiting 2-6-2T CHRISTOPHER.
The engines are then turned on the turntable, coupled back together and head off down Platform 1 and into the darkness.
