I used to watch him specifically for his Ryu... now his matches are ordinary

He's still rocks Ryu in SFL, depending on match up. He said he uses Ryu against other shotos. Otherwise Deejay or Ken. But I agree, his Ryu is transcendent while his Deejay and Ken are nothing to write home about.
