The Brat is a cool car. I saw Jason's unboxing video. Good stuff! I had a few Nikko toy grade rc's back in the day. But the one I remember best is the Tyrell Ford Elf six wheeler. I think it was from the mid 70s. 1976 or there about. I was about 8 years old. Great video! 👍

Keith, your heart is pure solid gold my friend! You are a rare breed indeed. The nicest guy I have ever seen. My very first rc car was the Sears Nikko Lobo II, and I loved it! I wish I still had it. Not long after that I bought the Nikko "Rhino" from the Sears Christmas wish book. Then everything changed the day I saw the Tamiya Blackfoot is the mall and never looked back. Even though the Lobo II was a toy grade car, I still loved it and takes me back to a Christmas I will never forget! Cheers to you bud!

Very cool it went back over to him with a car attached to the body! LOL! I saw his video the other day and I could tell how excited he was to have it! They are very unique kits and up until a few years ago I didn't know these were ever made, I assumed all of Nikko's kits ended up in toy stores and places like RadioShack. I had not idea they had done these high end kits. It is such a far jump for them but they did a really great job with it. Shame they are so hard to find but that is what makes them even more cool now. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Man Jason is gonna love that car. Unbelievable Nikko built something so cool my first was a Nikko but was a turbo aero not a competition style car. Having Delrin arms and being able to use it now makes a world of difference. Cannot wait for the video of it on the track down under.

I think it’s great how a lot of you tubers in the RC community help each other out those are the channels that I watch my favorite Nikko would have to be the Malibu pick up from radio shack never got it but I’m looking lol

Had the malibu I think..... had a working winch and some sort of crane attachment on the back. In black with a detachable bed cover in white. My 1st rc without wires! I loved it but I remember the cost of all the batteries was ridiculous! 8x c if I remember and they seemed to last minutes!

I loved lot of their toy grade and semi toy grade, would have loved to have the hobby grade ones. I used to have their catalogs to. I don't necessarily have a favorite one I had a lot of them and I loved them.

Oddly enough, those tires were used on the higher end Nikko toy grades as well as wheels that looked like those but had small 6mm hexes .. they took a lot of influence from the brat/dandy dash for the hot pepper and hurricane which were their “expensive” toy grade cars.

Sapphire is a modified motor you can also adjust the timing. Too bad they don't make the jem series anymore those are great motors.

I have 5 dandy dash and 2 super sprint and I would like to transform one of these into a brat, but the kits here in Europe are very rare, so I'm looking for a replica of the frame in kit form (also in carbon) or to produce it myself.
