You should go to orillia auto wreckers or Mike salvages neer midland and find some old gauges and rad from and old car /truck to make your engine run stand all together permanently..then you have it for all your projects..

Awesome project man! I'm building one similar myself. More of a ratty race car style since fully restoring these things can cost insane money. Wish you were closer because I might have a few bits and pieces to help out.

Hey Brian! Yeah I restore cars for my day job and it’s insane the how much time abs money it takes. I love he ratty muscle or even better cheap paint abs if it look ok abs drives hell that’s better then never being done. Where abouts are you located?

@@MADCRE8TIVE Yeah, my car snowballed into way more metal work than I originally anticipated. It all started with the holes in the trunk floor that made me realize the frame rails were rotted pretty badly. Pretty structurally important...so new frame rails, new trunk floor new quarters, new interior floors and it goes on and on. I'm located in Virginia Beach, VA

Rust is a pain the more you grind the more you find… My next big task is my rotted frame rails too…

Thermoquad....lol you will need center sump oil pan an pick up..
@mrpurcountry

Why would he need a center sump , my Cuda has a front sump cuz the steering linkage passes behind it

@@mrpurcountry if my memory serves me correctly motor home and truck engines have a rear sump. If summit racing web site is correct it calls for a center sump pan. Small or big block.

You guys are correct the truck oil pan and sump will need to be reversed! Thanks for that info, sone good forums discussing this swap!

You don't need a radiator to make the car run just don't run it for long

30k sounds a little strange for a motor being that dirty in a motorhome that wasn't driven much and the last 440 didn't have a lot of horsepower maybe 200, the 440 having a taller block you will have to run manual brakes power brake booster will hit the tappet cover, it looks like you have a rear sump oil pan you may need a front sump to miss your steering linkage

Awesome info!! Yeah it’s tuff to say the gauges in the motorhome also say 33,000km and the dirt in the motor is mostly light dirt we’ll see how it cleans up. Could have 133,000km on it? And your right will have to switch the oil pan and sump etc! Thanks for all the great advice!
