Vox with a disconnected head gives the impression he has multiple bodies and outfits hes gone through based on trends or based on TV eras from black and white, to color. I also see there being room for a potential gag of him saying he needs to recharge after a long day and he literally plugs his head into an outlet. I love your approach! It definitely makes his design stand out more!

Really love that you made his head float, cause it would certainly give off more “being ahead of his time” vibes. Sure he died in 1950s but if this guy is a guy who keeps up with trends or wants to be ahead of the trend, his date of death is the last thing he’s gonna be concerned about when finding his newest look. also yeah, about how he should be designed with regards to Alastor being his nemesis, I cannot agree more.

I love how futuristic you made Vox look! For a character, who's supposed to be "ahead" of the times, he's surprisingly very tame, and very little about his design is futuristic. There's also how Vox, Alastor, and Sir Pentious have identical suits but in different colors despite dying in different periods. Their clothing shouldn't be similar at all since they died decades apart.

YES! CYBERPUNK AND NO STRAIGHT ROADS! I love the floating head, and even though the purple/pink doesn't "pop" off his face in the same way the red did, I like the change, and it fits much better with the cyberpunk aesthetic he has going on(plus with where the pink is, it kind of looks like it's where the light is hitting his "face"). Wonderful job as usual, and remember to take care of yourself :)

Same like I got it when ppl said that the main cast was red because of uniforms but that should have been for there clothes only I mean val is in the same cherry red Charlie's in and he doesn't even work there so far theres like zero individualism other than angel sir p and vox (not counting the angles cause there own issue)

Making all of them the same color just takes away them standing out and having their own style and vibe, the fact that most of the backgrounds also is red for the most part is probably going to make it very difficult to focus on what’s going on, like the characters aren’t going to stand out that much from a distance it might take sometime to see who is who if you get what I mean TwT

Gotta say if someone showed me this design and said this was like some Ultimate Vox form for a season finale or something I would completely 100% believe them He gives me such ‘final boss’ vibes and I feel like that fits him very well Also god I didn’t realize how much I love Vox and neon blue until this video he might just be my new favorite character now. *tired sigh* if only he didn’t have so much red (and the shoulderpads. Now this upgraded design is my cup of tea. It looks like the old character, but like it fits what it’s supposed to be better. He is more into modern tack, while Alistair kind of doesn’t want to move forward. As soon as the Internet came out, he try to upgrade himself from TV to TV with Wi-Fi. That seems perfect. Because I imagine he probably doesn’t want to be represented by completely useless old tech. It really has a contrasting theme to the mellowed out colors of Alistair. Got this real cool future versus past theme sort of like Pokémon scarlet and violet, which I don’t know how you haven’t noticed that was something you accidentally did

You’re talking about the time or mixing in their personality. You analyze color and experiment with bizarre styles. That’s never going get old and it makes it so that you don’t get stuck. Viv, and really anyone writing a story, would benefit a lot from your attitude and skills.

I love your redesign of him! I like neos and cyberpunk together + purple + tailcoat's( I wish I could just wear tailcoat's everyday, I just love them, make my brain go EEPY) so it's not a shocker but not just because of this 3 but also because I find it just a great, more sense making redesign! And yes, his head TV head being detach makes so much more sense that I can look at the original the same again without being like "why are you like this?"😭 Honestly, I feel like Viv didn't change much in everyone and their moms designs because she was afraid of who fans will react, like getting mad thay it's a "whole new character" and that all the merch they payed money on is now outdated 🙄 But honestly, besides the inevitable backlash, I feel like things would have still been ok in the end. They could have branded the pilot merch as "old fan badges" and throw at us from time to time merch with the pilot designs + make cute merch with both designs like characters looking in a mirror or sum and seeing their pilot version and having different reactions based on the characters personality. SUCH WASTED POTENTIAL 😭

Vox is my favorite out of the Vs and I love the color, you made him look like a futuristic cyberpunk cult leader it’s the perfect contrast to Alastor. I really hope Vox and Alastor rivalry isn’t just for show. I want them there to be bad blood between them lol I love when fights scenes have weight and stakes. I guess Val and Vox are cute as a couple but I really want Vox to be the one In charge of the relationship, the one who attracted the moth to the flames, but just lets Val think he’s in control of everything when we all know Vox can snatch his crown. Also take your time with the velvet video don’t stress yourself ❤

God this is the best improvement yet, I’m so sick of Viv not making her designs reflect stuff about the characters because shes afraid to go out of her comfort zone or just drawing details she likes and adding it to characters without rhyme or reason, seriously why does almost male antagonist have a striped suit and top hat it?? I get it’s a classic villainous look but it just makes them not stand out from each other and not show what era they are actually from or what idea they are suppose to be representing. This Vox makes so much more sense! The neon purple with blue just pops and it makes him a perfect contrast then to Alastors old timey suit. Btw all of her characters are like…really skinny and kinda have the same bodies. AJSJSJDJDJ I LOVE THIS VOX REDESIGN SM, I ABSOLUTELY ADORE FUTURISTIC TECH CHARACTERS WITH ASSHOLE PERSONALITIES. Now I’m realizing just how much missed potential there could have been in Vox’s design. THINK OF THE POSSIBIBLITIES OF VILLAIN TECH VOX! Imagine some of his limbs having a bunch of wires and stuff, and being able to control and extend those wires to use as weapons and electrocute people or plug into certain devices to kinda “control” or “possess” them like some kind of virus. And going along with the antennae thing idea, Vox seems like the type of guy to go to extreme measures for power to fill his ego or soothe his insecurities, so I don’t think he would be against doing instense body modifications on himself to “keep up with the times”. Doing things like upgrading his tv screen to a smart tv screen causing him to need a constant wifi signal to keep doing certain things, like maybe display his face? Not sure. Imagine he started as an old school tv with a relatively human body when he first died, but not he has almost fully robotic limbs and a modern tv head. Perhaps he even had a neck when he first started, and removed that as well and now he looks like this. ARGGGGG THE POSSIBILITIES WITH EACH CHARACTER! I COULD’VE ACTUALLY REALLY LIKED OR SIMPED FOR SOME OF THESE DESIGNS INSTEAD OF LAUGHING AT VOX’S TINY TOP HAT EVERY TIME I SEE IT, HE LOOKS SO GOOFY WITH IT ON

I freaking love Robots that movie was my childhood its probably why I'm opposed with robots now XD and thank you I thought the Vees clashing would be a nice opposite to the main cast minus sir P and that even though there colors clash they still work really well together while the main cast though matching does not

I've been looking forward to this all week, and I absolutely love the design it reminds me a lot of your video of how you would design the denizens of the sloth ring which come to think if it, if VOX wasn't a sinner demon and could leave the pride ring I feel like he would fit in very well.

Your Vox design is so coooooooooool!!!! I love how his futuristic techwear design you gave him really differentiates him from not only the other Vs but also the rest of the cast. Thank you especially for the colors (i am also very sick of allllllllll the red in HH and HB) they suit him very well and I'm just gonna say it, this is probably my favorite of your HH redesigns (Lucifer is a *very* close 2nd tho). Can't wait for the next vid!

Vox is a character I can see looking young even though hes like super old like someone would be like did you die recently and hed just explode with joy like "how wow you think I'm that young" XD

@@LovesArt23 Wait I actually love that lmao. My issue was just that Vox looking young makes it look like a young adult/adult rivalry as opposed to the adult/adult rivalry it actually is. But I can still see him _wanting_ to look young up to date in various aspects so I guess with that in mind there are no issues XD

Yeah that could be it plus blue has a ton of different meanings since theres so many shades of it and that its the rarest color in nature

@@LovesArt23 To be honest, both purple and blue are rare colors in nature. Not many animals and plants have them. So they feel extra special. I think some sea life has blue colors on them . Like some jelly fish,whales and sharks I think.

Another fantastic redesign! Yeeessss love the Neons and floating head! honestly take all the time you need with doing violet. there's no need to rush. and I'm sure everyone in your community would agree. they all love your videos and your art ( like the old guy from Toy Story once said " you can't rush art!") don't know where I was going with this but yeah take your time take as many breaks as you hecking want and honestly I hope you have an amazing trip!

I agree that Vox, beeing the enemy of Alastor because they are opposites, he should have a more updated style. Also, the outfit you drew is really cool. The color pallet was a smart choice in my opinion. The only thing I wonder is if Vivziepop actually wanted to made him up-to-date when It comes to attire bc on the semi-canon insta acc. He wore some clothes that were def not fashonable... So I really don't know what's going on with him.

Yeah I have no idea anyone plus she just recently tweeted that none of the HH Instagrams are cannon which I kinda figured but yeah at this point I'll have to wait for the show so I can get a real idea about vox cause at this point is all super confusing
