I kinda wanted us to draft Garland at that time but you can understand Griff’s decision of trading down to draft a switchable center of Hayes to pair with Zion and a self-creation guard NAW to be the future SG. JP can really b an all star type player if he is starting cuz his stats as a starter r really fucking good and it has been shown glimpses in this season in possessions he can be a positive but he jus lazy on that side of the ball and then tries to do to much on offense and stick to he is trying to do but he can improve cuz he is hard working

Giving nic Claxton just a b grade is kind of ridiculous. He was in DPOY conversations this yr and was picked in rd2

To be fair hist last 3 games in playoffs were good -> knicks weren't winning those games without him. First 2 absolutely trash though. I don't follow but he seems very streaky. But last 3 games getting knicks round 2 he was crucial

Deandre hunter starting sf on a playoff team in 3 of his 4 seasons in the league. 44/35/80 career splits. Definitely deserves a B instead of a C. This dude is such a Hawks hater.

I think the grades are a little harsh since this isn't a very good draft class

@@kris2659 Ya, best ability is availability. No one cares how dominant you can be when you sit out more games than you play.

The Sixers were tanking and THEY made him sit, he wanted to play. The team was truly awful and had no upside at that time. Playing him would have hurt the teams goals. Zion doesnt WANT TO PLAY and help his team. His team, unlike the Sixers back then, is very good. The teams goal is WINNING and he…just sits…and i guess, eats.

Rj Barrets shot is weird he shoots jumping straight up and his hand goes straight up with left hand elbow tilted very weird, its like he makes the shot harder than it has to be.

Not sure how RJ Barrett who has averaged nearly 20 a game for his career despite some inefficiency gets the same grade as Hunter who was picked one pick later and has had a significantly less productive career. The only reason would be because you thought RJ would be a 25+ guy.

I call foul !!! This was the first year they altered lottery odds to 14% to each of the worst 3 teams . NY Knicks won 17 games that year by far the league’s worst record to settle for the #3 overall and N.O & Memphis landing the 1 & 2 after they each won 33 games 😑 Can’t help but to think the NBA was desperate to try & give the Pelicans a pulse and relevance 🤔

I was about to say, "A+ for Ja Morant even with the no defense and injury risk?" Then i realized everyone who does these lists are super stingy with the A+ grade so go off King. Ja Morant is definitely an A+.
