Idea here is just to see how far can I stretch changing the stock chainset the bike
came out of from the factory.
Front sprocket has been cahinged once around 16000 kms

I somehow feel that the Himalayan sprockets are not heat treated at all, otherwise the standard life of a chain set (OE stock) should be 20 to 25k Kms.

I think he said this sprocket has 32k kms on it.

Unfortunately I feel the same. My friends are averaging out 14to 18k max

The sprockets are very cheap, not sure its good idea to not change it when so worn.

Agreed, just did this for experimentation purposes. Will be putting in new chainset soon🙂
