What a season finale incredible 3 rookies on their run to show their potential for the future the race when rookies fight Against champions Zug on his best race got the chance to finish on podium but Sheldon was too Quick for him so P4 is an decent finish at his best race weekend of the season maybe with more power next season he can do it, Köhler also finally the mega opportunity to finish higher than last so far and he try to overtake Auer for 7 in the end he get his first points in his only 2nd DTM race weekend just an Mega debut hope he get a contract for next season to fight really for top 10 and higher but Schmid so Unlucky had a great Quali to drive Sandwich with Marco & Rast at the start into turn 1 really impressed but an Puntcher in the last 20 minutes saw him to retire from an great P3 run just an great show to perform so with those rookie impressions they can fight now for top 10 and maybe a potential podium in 2023, What an race from Marco he got the perfect start as Saturday and this time he wins really an unbelievable drive to his first win since Zolder 21 I guess or Assen? Unfortunately from an crashy Saturday only 19 can start on finale Sunday and even 12 finish the race such an might afull race for most of the drivers Bortolotti, Gore, Stolz & Götz as Delledda dnf in that last Sunday of the season really sad to end the season like that so they really had to Train hard for 2023 season to might become race winners or title fighters, It was an really calm race through the last 20 minutes might the calmest race of the season with Sheldon clearly ride in P3 to his first title and Auer still in the train from 6 to 11 position everything was set to be finish like that and with Rast mistake that lose him the lead to might become champion it was done. But what an epic battle between Marco & Rast they really had fun and a though fight for the lead just wheel to wheel battle like no other before since Glock vs paffet in 2018 Really incredible how rast takes the lead from Marco into the stadium section nobody had overtake inside line into the stadium section but René flying Rast must to get ahead of Marco to have a chance to become champ so risk a lot but don't damage the car was the message from engineering to rast but unlucky there was a bit too much contact into the Mercedes Stadium corner and he lose speed after it so that was the point were rast lost the win but Finishing 2nd at his last race for Audi was enough to be happy and with an unbelievable P3 in the championship it was a well deserve farwell performance overall what an season from the record driver without those battles at Spa, Nürburgring and the bad strategy at Spielberg he seems to be Champ once more anyway thanks René for such an thrilling last season for Audi on DTM comeback season and on an successful partnership with Audi you are now allowed to follow the Hunt for the record titles with the nother chapter with Bmw maybe in 3 more years you can become the record breaking DTM Champ? Auer unlikely can't fight for the podium with the winning weights from Saturday and finish 7 is an hard feeling to take but overall he also got an incredible season to finish in 2nd place at the standings it's a well deserved success so work on that to fight for the title in 2023, Sheldon sensational become the first south African to win the DTM title really extraordinary fabulous how he defends his lead in this historic finale it's an perfect dream come true season with an consistency season and the first Brother pair win it's history to write last season Kev was the men to write his name in the history books but unfortunately he risk too much at the most thrilling season in the DTM history at the Norisring finale but finish still on th podium in th championship with P3 so today the van der lind bros let's say does it together they dream for this moment and absolutely done it P3 at the last race was surely enough to become champion with Schubert Motorsport a new team write history too in debut season so Bmw first successful season since an Mega Marco in 2016, 6 years of wait has worked out to succeed again thanks for such though emotional exciting thrilling season and let's celebrate a new champ in DTM history with an traditional all 3 Brands are represented on the DTM drivers championship podium, 🍾🥳🥳🥳🍾🍾🍾🤩🤩😎😎😎🏆🏆🏆 maybe 2023 will change more with Rast starts his first DTM partnership season with Bmw so let's say Sheldon has a new teammate for 2023 maybe this can bring more action into the championship 🏆🏆🏆🤩🤩🍾🍾🍾🥳🥳🥳🥳

With all due respect to the few race car drivers that have respect for other drivers … 2021 championship was a travesty for the motor sport; 2022 was not any different. Sad !

Man kann 80% der Fahrer wegen verlassen der Strecke disqualifizieren. Die fahren mehr im Grünen als auf der Straße und Hr.Berger, überlegen sie sich mal, wieviele sich so einen orginal Wagen leisten können!!?? Wäre es nicht angebracht die DTM wieder mit OTTO-Alltagsautos zu bestreiten, Autos die sich die Allgemeinheit leisten kann und dann eher mit der Rennserie indentivizieren kann ( Audi A4, BMW 3, Ford Mondeo, Opel,VW) und vorallem den Rennfahrern beibringen das mit den Qurbs die Rennstrecke aufhört.

Es wurde extra schon auf GT3 gewechselt um die Teilnahme für mehr Marken und Teams zu ermöglichen. Aber eine Rennserie mit Werkswagen? Ganz ehrlich, wer will denn sowas sehen? Das wäre wohl wirklich das Ende für die DTM

@@Matthias_ger Hatte ich irgend etwas von Werkswagen geschrieben?? Wenn Abt oder AMG statt nem GT3-Boliden einen normalen Wagen in den Renntrimm bringen wäre das schon ein Fortschritt. Zur Erinnerung, die DTM/ ITC mit Capri, 3er BMW, 190 MB, Lancia, Alfa,Opel, Da war mehr los als zur Zeit.

@@Matthias_ger Dann nehme halt einen MB A/B, Audi A4, Ford Mondeo,Opel Insigna/Astra, VW Scirocco(neu),Alfa hat auch etwas in der 2L-Klasse und von den Japaner auch etwas,schon haste ein interessantes Starterfeld zusammen mit Autos die OTTO Normalverbraucher bewegt. Oder hast du zuhause einen Lambo/M4/AudiR8/ AMG in der Garage stehen,ich nicht,bin deswegen nicht traurig,aber diese Schleudern kannste in der VLN /24h einsetzten,aber sonst nirgends.
