@@umikw3459 I am in my thirties and I was happy being single until my family is making me miserable and making sure I am not happy at all and they are trying to push me to their miserable life.I tried to move out on my own but they blackmailed, stalked me, got emotional, and harassed me. And with this day and age of racism outside, it is not safe. But yes education first then marriage is my advice to young people. If you have toxic, negative family, get married in your 20's and run away from them.

You are a strong woman my love. I wish I was strong too. I have three children, my youngest now only 11 weeks old.. Its harder living with someone who wants you to do all your duties as a wife during the day, almost like a maid. But then sleeps in a different room than you at night. All this due to an argument we had when my baby was only 6 weeks old. I am breaking from inside but keeping strong somehow for my children. I hide my tears behind my forced smile. It's killing me slowly slowly everyday. I am exhausted beyond. Please pray for me anyone reading this. May Allah open my husband heart and make him soft towards me again.

Recently became a single parent to 3 children. I must say I find it very difficult. Especially, “the man tasks “ of the house…. Working , managing a house, teaching them deen this all takes it’s toll … I think there will be huge consequences of the break up with my son … a boy needs a male role model who is present in their life regularly ..May Allah swt make it easy for us struggling single mums …your ex partner at least sees the children for an adequate amount of time , it’s not the same for us 😢

Don't make divorce a fashion. Quran already set out the role of men and women. The defining factor is abuse of any form. Anything less than that requires both parties to check their egos. Men do want submissive feminine wives, that's a fact . But at the same time, we need to stand in our own power, and be supported by them as partners. So there needs to be balance. It will have effects on the kids long term. And affect their likelihood of getting divorced when they grow up. So great for you but please dont make it a trend.

Exactly. Many are single mothers event tho they’re married. I know sisters who’s husband does absolutely nothing to help them not financially nor mentally nor household chores basically nothing. He’s just there for a show likes the idea of having a wife but contributes noting. The kids become worse than their fathers. I would advise this type of women to divorce instead of having a horrible role model in the house for their kids.
