I thank & praise God for leading me to this video today! This is exactly what happened to me from the beginning of summer onwards & increased! I saw many different reasons why it happened & I am so grateful to the Lord in how He directs me to understand instead of being confused about it. I am thankful that you give us positive steps to take as well.

Tim thank you so much for making this series. It has helped me tremendously and I'm sure many others too. You are a true example of what it means to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Teaching, healing, and spreading hope ❤ I appreciate that you keep the Christian part separate so this content is accessible to anyone who needs it, no matter what they believe. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones and wish you all the best for 2024

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I graduated from LIFT in November, and the holidays, and now I know at times, "Depletion" has been wreaking havoc in my life. I was aware something was going on with me but couldn't put my finger on it. God bless my wife, who sent me this video after it popped up in her YT feed. It was the best gift I (and she) could possibly have received this year. Soooo grateful for Tim and all those within his organization for serving so many of us at the real point of our needs with overcoming CT and especially the resulting shame.

@@NE0Nwhip I wish it were that easy. I see how I'm disconnected from & don't understand my emotions/feelings from what all I experienced/endured growing up. I kept a diary when I was a kid then once I discovered my mother & so called friends had stolen it & used the information against me multiple times, I developed many negative associations and bottled up even more. Being vulnerable only lead to more pain. I see how my growth is stunted yet don't know how to change how my body's systems doesn't function like that of a healthy person who grew up in loving/nurturing environment. I can't go back in time to undo the long-term damages done. Trauma brain is debilitating to say the least.

So glad you are speaking to the "self-care" BS being batted around. In staff meetings as a public school teacher we were directed to write down what we intended to do for self care. All this did was place an added burden on teachers to make something up to write on a piece of paper that no one intended to do, and would do nothing to actually care for the self anyway.

Glad I found you ! First day of the year and taking on healing at a cellular and nervous system level. I am constantly multitasking as a way to keep up but sort of in a survival mode. Throughout the years I have accumulated lots of things ( shoes, clothes, art and crafts ,) so it has become hard to keep up with the constant organizing . I have also become isolated and disconnected from the flow of life “out there.” I have been unemployed for a few years now and to tap it off, I have been giving my attention and little energy to toxic narcissistic relationships that make me feel drained ! Compassion fatigue is real! Not having none of that in this new year 2024.

Awareness!! Yes that's absolutely it! Some things don't have an overnight fix. Like years ago when I worked graveyard shifts I knew that sleep bank would never ever be on full. Unfortunately sometimes we can't get out of that auto-pilot for a long time because we had to work so much. And every part of us takes a hit. Body, soul and spirit. It's amazing how much of being tired in your mentality is connected to being physically tired.
