What a pleasure to hear this performance with some of the legendary Wagner singers and Maestro Jochum! Martha Mödl's Kundry will always stay a mistery and she's here in excellent shape! These were the years of her closer contact with Windgassen and of outstanding emotional interpretations! Ferdinand Frantz and Ludwig Weber belong to the very best Wagner voices ever.
