Gorgeous array of flowers showcased in your antique seed packet adorned tea containers in your greenhouse and 💕 your "greenhouse pal." I've heard of people who put frozen bags of vegetables underneath their broody hens to cool them down! Don't know if that will help...Twila seems determined. LOL I also read that to break a broody to put her in a cage with a wire bottom & only food and water, no bedding for 3 days will work. 🤷♀ Good luck. Her babies are cute though. Looking forward to the antique shop.

My Dahlias from the seeds you sent are blooming beautifully! They are a precious pink with yellowish centers and they remind me of a gorgeous sunset. I have to thank you for the joy you bring in sharing your videos, Jeri. Life has gotten difficult here in my corner of the world. Barry struggles for every breath now even with his oxygen cranked high, and a specialty RX from the pulmonary specialist. Seems Barry has a rare, aggressive lung disease that requires a transplant. (Which is out of the question with his age and heart issues). We still have hope. The Lord is good, and the RX seems to be slowing the progression down. I still try to look forward to my next garden flowers, and veggies - though some days It takes all the strength I have to pull a weed. It is such a welcome escape to your garden and watch the new baby chicks, the wonderful tea tins with colorful flowers, etc. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! Your greenhouse looks so compelling! I would love to go look at and play with every little thing. Love the brick floor too. A couple weeks ago, from FB marketplace, I got 34 free old window panes! All in good shape and actually they were recently re-glazed, so I won't even have to redo that. My collection of glass windows and doors I think is large enough for a good structure, now I still need to find a contractor because I won't do it myself. My plastic covered carport frame is doing really well though, so I need to get in there and get it prepped for winter. Now is a good time for starting seed for fall planting, so I need to get busy doing that. I covered the whole top with a 50% shade cloth, which has been a great help. So, two more weeks and maybe it won't be too hot in the greenhouse for seedlings. My main purpose for the greenhouse though is for protecting cold sensitive and tropical plants. And I got more this year, so I really need to figure out how to get some tables and shelves set up and make sure I have the heating ready. But, I also want to consider the aesthetics and make mine a bit more attractive. It won't ever be as lovely as yours, but a bit of pretty here and there would really be nice. ...I like your wheel-cloche idea!! I will be looking for some of those now! I had a few plants grow too tall, so I'm already considering how I could cut up and use old tomato supports. I also planted some borage, but the chickens dug most of it up, so I could really use some of the wheel cloches! Thank you again Jeri for the diversion and the inspiration. I'm looking forward to your trip to the antique store and to learn more about your lovely cabinet! Thank you!!

Good morning Jeri. It's always such a joy for me to take time and catch up on your videos. You are such an inspiration in my life, and I could never tell you enough how blessed I am to grow in your content. Yesterday, I was watching one of you older videos from awhile back (I think it was published years ago), and you shared a book that caught my interest. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the title, and now I cannot find which video contained the book information. It was an older book, with black/white drawings. I believe it was a book about gardening, intended for children, yet it was very informative, and had such lovely simple drawings. You read an excerpt from it about seeds, and I think you even sprinkled a few seeds on the page. You mentioned that you would use it for a resource for many years. My apologies, that I do not have a better description ..... However, if you may possibly recall such a book, I would love to know the title. Warmest blessings always, and thanks for the tremendous difference you make in my life. Take care (and by the way, your new puppy is absolutely precious, along with the 'surprise' baby chicks, too ..... smile). 🌻
