re sealing a loader tire

loader tire was going flat frequently leaking from the tire o ring and also the inner bead de-mounted the tire cleaned the beads and installed a new o ring.

That inner bead was tough! looks good all cleaned up. fingers crossed its sealed up now.

Yeah that inner bead didn't want to let loose. I spent about 20mins on it. One of those rim clamp bead breakers would have been the tool for that job. This was recorded a few weeks ago and still holding air good.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸Now that seemed to take a lot of work, but worth it in the long run & a good video. Split ring wheels…I was always told to beware of those. I’ve had a couple of tire shops refuse to work on the old Dayton wheels because of the danger. Those wheels sure seemed to be quite gooey & sticky. Your hard work sure paid off in the end. Yeah those split rims can be dangerous as hell when you first get into being in a truck mechanic they show you all these horror videos of rims blowing up and all that does is make you scared to even touch them. But well done you got the job done safely.

It's a factory 2.25 yard bucket that someone has had some size added to it. Probably more like 2.5 yards now still small enough to handle a full heaped scoop of dirt

@@Ezrider359 I wasn't trying to sound rude sorry if it came out that way. Meaning video can make thing's look different BUT if the Fork Lift snapped off. It looked as if it could have shot right into your Cab it's hard saying comments cuz they can sometimes be taken wrong way Enjoy your Day.

I didn't take it as rude, that aspect is certainly not the most dangerous part of what I did. Those forks would bend long before they would snap and even if the did snap the would have gone away from the cab. By far the most dangerous thing I did in this video was working on it with the machine supported on its own hydraulics. That risk was mitigated by being aware of it and not putting myself where I'd likely be crushed if they failed. There's risks involved in tons of every day common place activities
