What did the pole barn cost to build, minus doors? I am tossing back and forth to do 30x40 shop pole barn style or to order a kit. The kits are pretty affordable but I'm not sure on how strong they are compared to pole barn style.

i didn't build the poll barn i bought some land that had the poll barn on it so it was a existing building.

The problem with spray foam is you trap moisture between the metal and the foam. My building manufacturer would not honor the 50yr warranty if I spray foamed my shop. If you wrapped the shop first, you would be good to go.

Enjoyed your video. May I make a suggestion, when using you camera on stick, and you turn away from camera while talking the volume drops becoming hard to hear what your saying in a larger room or area? Maybe invest in a wifi microphone. Also Practice with your camera shots, your swinging camera around trying to show the items and it becomes a distraction. Maybe a Tripod to steady the shots? But again I learned from your project and tips. Getting ready to build my shop shed and need all the tips I can find? Thank you

💡Spay foam can destroy peoples heath for the rest of their life because of toxic off gassing! Not worth the risk for me! A lot of money is paid to have the top search results showing it's safe!

As soon as you showed the froth paks you automatically lost. That stuff doesnt expand well. Theres no way you sprayed correctly.

Plus you're spraying in cold weather, the exothermic reaction isn't fully engaged. That cold metal is just sucking the expansion down.

4 temps has to be right, rig/drum temp, air temp and surface temp. You're pumping heat into a building I wouldn't be surprised you're making condensation how is foam going to stick on wet surfaces. Man if you could add everything you did wrong you stacked it all in one video. That foam is going to pop off in time

You must have had some sky high bids. There's no way here in MN unless its under 100 sq. ft. you could save money using "snot packs". I'm a foam contractor and it's too bad you received such high quotes. The price per bd. ft. on material alone is more than what I charge.
