Re-tune Your Traditional Bow when you add a bow quiver

Adding weight to your point or arrow tip will soften the spine and bring your arrow right...decreasing point weight will stiffen spine and bring arrow impact left.

I didn't realize it would change the tuning as much as it did. Thanks for the insights, it will save me some aggravation now that I know I need to tune the bow in the condition I will be hunting with it.

Good shooting. You should check your arrows too. Many times the flight of the arrows & the "tail woobling¨is due to poor arrow tunning (fletchings, balance, FOC, etc...). Good hunting!

I know what you mean and I have a friend who is a wizard at tuning arrows - I'm going to hit him up for some help next set of shafts I buy.

I'd be really interested in knowing if the bow would shoot differently if arrows are removed from the quiver. It seems like that would change the balance of the setup. Hopefully not enough to be noticeable. Best of luck with your hunt. Cheers from Juneau Alaska, Greg Chaney

I really notice the change when I remove or add the full bow quiver of arrow and of course I have to adjust my brace hight every time - I my just decide to leave the bow quiver mounted.

I am really wondering about using a bow mounted quiver on my recurve. If it degrades the accuracy, I might go with a wearable quiver. But that brings more problems...

@@airshipguys once your bow quiver is mounted, it really doesn't take long to dial your accuracy back.
