The thing I find really hinky about this episode is that I am positive there is no way a truck full of missiles would be allowed to stop for anything not traffic related and I am also positive it would have a covert escort following.

There would be a near constant government oversight and security measures than not even the company could skirt. It would have been more realistic to do a moving take down of that semi while support cars took care of the armed escort vehicle/s.

I think you're right about Swan. The part that he signed off on the missile shipment 'personally' with a thumb print clinched it for me. All Langston needs is Swan's thumb to do that, and it might not even be still attached to Swan to achieve that.

You don't even need his thumb for it. You just need to connect someone else's prints with his profile (or a profile created in his name) and that's it. Just a little bit of entering false data in a registry.

Fun fact: At 14:30 in the video, Noam Jenkins, who is the man Reacher is meeting and says the guy has to call him Sir, is the same actor who voices Aiden Pearce in the 2014 game Watch_Dogs. He's also been in Wynonna Earp, Rookie Blue and other projects.

@7:40 This is one part of the show where I think the writer F'd up. If they have a list of the alias' used by this guy and this guy has gone through several airports, they ought to be able to figure out exactly when he went through security and they should have video photoaged of him so they should know exactly what he looks like.

Don't know how much is the original book or the adaptation, but the writing in this, with the slow reveals through the layers of back story and current case, is amazing! Love this show! Hope you all feel better soon. ☺

That moment at 22:57 makes Alan Ritchson perfect as Batman, he has the chin, the build (Arkham games at least, might be a bit too big), and the intimidation down, he also looks good in a suit as Bruce Wayne, just needs to work on his voice (the gravelly growly style) and he's perfect.

I love Alan but he really does need to work on his voice in general. Notice the difference betwixt his line delivery and Russo's. Russo (the actor who comes from what most consider the greatest show ever made, The Wire) delivers his lines clearly and in character. You can understand everything he says with conviction. Alan Ritchson does a solid job but sometimes he gets a mumble in here and there and it sounds like he's fumbling marbles in his mouth. Same with some other characters. I think a lot of times he has to execute a line with a knowledge dump that isn't necessary. I love the show but there are some lines I would drop. We know he's smart but what he does. He doesn't have to explain it. Otherwise he does an amazing job. Love the show. Okay, not sure why I replied with so much lol. And yes, he should be the new Batman with some voice coaching.

I think Swan did hire the hitmen. Two of the worst snipers in broad daylight. Daylight only helps Reacher and the team see the shooters, in a place loaded with armed police and military. It was a setup to fail. Swan & NewAge Lady were trying to stop this deal but didnt know who was involved, Swan went to Franz for back-up, Franz went to Sanchez and Orosco. When New Age Lady gave Neagley the setup address, I'll bet we find out she asked a member of the security team (Langston) to pull the info. Swan gets pressganged into being a scapegoat, He wouldn't have let his dog die. Digital thumbprints don't register temp, thumb in a bag works just as well as attached, and Langston gets to further implicate Swan. Swan is clean. < My guess.

I thought it was weird when Swann took the bullet for Reacher and Reacher asked, "Hey, who do you not mess with?" And Swann said "The teamsters?", I thought it was odd he didnt say their slogan, "The Speical investigators!"... I could be mistaken and it doesnt mean anything, I just found that odd bc they make such a big deal about that phrase this season. I'm really hoping Swann being dirty is a misdirect, lol 😅 Hope yall feel better!! 😊

The tension is kind of lowered in this season by having the bad guys all be absolutely awful shots and also having every vehicle and bit of cover, like a thin stone gravestone, be seemingly bulletproof. Not saying the main characters need to get hit more, but having constant missed shots at a massive target like Reacher is a bit much.

The Aquaman reference can only be understood if you know that Reacher used to be Aquaman in the Superman series Smallville. Robert Patrick will be thrown out of the helicopter and, unlike Reacher's friend, he will fall screaming. I'm convinced of that. Odonell: He's still the No. 1 suspect to me, but it could very well be Dixon. Because it increases the height of Reacher's fall when she's the traitor, and besides, the reunion was very extraordinarily coincidental. In such a random place, Reacher sees her purely by chance. She could have been placed or she wants to save her own ass as the third party involved. Same motive as Odonell would have.

My predictive analysis is as follows: Swan is a made up character who is using Swans I.D. but is in fact one of the bad guys. When he finally met face to face Reacher's feelings will be exonerated.

Please get better. I don't trust Dixon. She's Reacher's blind spot, that makes him not see straight. I think she might not be completely involved, but maybe setup Langston and the other bad guy, a go between. And she now has to help to work her way out. I think somewhere Reacher will have to chose between Neely and Dixon, and Dixon is going to lose out, because ultimately, even tough they won't admit it, but Reacher and Neely really love each other, because they are so much alike.
