@@ChethanR-th2dc check the speeds on every Pokémon, they're always the maximum indicated, or the minimum if you're against a trick room Pokémon. It is very important to know the order of the moves, especially with 4 Pokémons on the field

I really wish they had made it so that it was more like VGC. You were given 6 random pokemon, then you could scout out your team, and pick and choose 4 of those to bring into battle. Then you could make use of leads and synergies more, which is what doubles, or VGC, is all about.

Vgc is not synonymous with doubles. Educate yourself on the smogon doubles format.

Your theory is right and actually it does teach alot about team building too giving an idea of the kind of moves to use like ones with good secondary effects

I agree with everything you said about randoms but I also think it tests your Pokemon knowledge in a battle sense cos you gotta try analysis your team and figure out what to do with it and as the battle goes there team and make decisions accordingly

There's a browser extension that shows you what your opponents might have, and there's also one called showdex, which is a calculator inbuilt into showdown
