I remember that first album If They Only Knew is what really drew me in about Trip Lee. I knew that he was going to be special. All of his music has always been transparent and real. And has brought me to tears in many cases before the Lord.

😅😭 I remember being one of the churches that booked Trip early on! I think it was like 200-300 dollars in a Lil pink envelope and he was very grateful. It was him and Tdot

“If artists can be easily inspired, that’s the best thing you can do for yourself as an artist. If you can learn something from anybody, any kind of artist, at any place, that’s good.” Also from believer or non believer, Amen!! Great advice and encouragement for artists of every kind, thanks bros! 😍🙏🔥

Amazing interview. Been listening to Trip and 116 since I was a kid. Question: Since unbelievers are still created in the image of God, and without faith, it’s impossible to please God, how do those two truths coexist?

I have a question. Is it okay to think that people would be wowed as you create? Like in your head as you create a bar that sounds great, You thinking about the response of people and how wowed and excited they would be about it?

If you posture yourself as a learner you cannot be a person of faith. Faith is an abdication of pursuing contrafactuals for an acceptance of a presupposition. I fully support the topic talked about, but the reason why Reach has lost its ability to grow beyond its current viewership because no Christian artists are challenging faith with the evidence of our times that renders deities as non-existent and relics of cultural myth. Why God is relevant would have to be demonstrated beyond personal testimonials, and instead be proven beyond a reasonable doubt considering things that actually exist in todays can be. Why doesn't Reach interview Phanatik to understand discrepancies leaders in Christian Rap may have had, or currently have?
