Both has it perks. If you want to go serverless use firebase and If you want to create your own backend use mongodb.

why do you use yarn instead of npm ? is there any specific reason.

Yes there are many reasons. But one of them is yarn is faster than npm. Compare it yourself. Old libraries are adopting yarn in their new versions instead of npm.
