I think a lot of adults/seniors don't realize that a *lot* of films they remember as not-Disney are recent acquisitions, through their purchase of other companies... I haven't seen any of the great live-action films of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, though; I hope that means Disney will be remaking (well) a bunch of amazing old live-action flicks.

When I was in high school, my US History teacher actually had a copy of Song of the South on VHS. She had purchased it in Japan, and also had the original English language track. She got the two combined together on DVD. She explained the details of how, but this was 20 years ago and I've slept since then. She explained how it was the only Disney movie you will never find for sale in the states and why. It's always stuck with me.
