About the rainforest burning, one thing I remember at the time, reading in The Washington Post was that the fires were caused by farmers and not a natural occurrence. People in Australia are being arrested for not complying with fire safety laws or throwing away lit cigarettes. You'd think news about these fires would encourage people to be careful. It's insane.
@novoaziz4 жыл бұрын
Okay. But what about our native animals decreasing at a fast rate here in Australia. And the homes being destroyed and our firefighters dying and leaving their families to save other families for months. It’s getting worse day by day with only very little rain. 🥺

React to Australian fires! 2 states are in a state of emergency/disaster and were only going to get worse as summer goes on! Please help spreading this topic, it really needs all the attention it can get

Yes! Been burning for months! 500 million wildlife dead, more burnt land in aus than the Amazon, 24 lives lost, hundreds of houses burnt. The last of our disease free koalas have pretty much been wiped out now because they were on kangaroo island! No sign of it stopping!
@chloemillidonis85354 жыл бұрын
Carly Orr It’s definitely not stopping any time soon. Our poor firefighters are fighting a losing battle but they’re just relentless and won’t give up. There’s absolutely no significant rain coming to help them either. It’s just a horrible situation down here and now our air quality is so poor you pretty much need a mask if you’re going to be outside for more then 10 mins. It’s so heartbreaking to see it all unfold. My family in NSW are all on watch and alert and have been since it started. I pray they don’t get affected
