I grew up on a farm. Whenever we had livestock we were raising for food, we'd always give the animal a food name (pigs named Porkchop and Hamhocks, cow named Brisket, etc). We did this to remind us the animal is for eating and not to get too attached. It's pretty dark and funny... but now I'm worried about Chris P. Bacon 🥓 meals on wheels? Portable pork?
