If you might like to listen to more Jinjer, I think you’d really enjoy “Perennial (Live at Wacken Open Air 2019)” and “Teacher, Teacher”-and that’s just to name two among many others! And just as a preemptive heads-up: If you might like to pronounce “Wacken” like the locals, one would say “Vah-ken.” (In German, “W” is pronounced like a “V” is in English.) I’m only mentioning that part just since most folks seem to stumble over that one a bit.

Have you ever heard Between The Buried And Me? They're an even deeper rabbit hole than Jinjer IMHO. "Colors" is one of the most ambitious metal albums ever made, as it's effectively a single 62-minute long song and an absolute masterpiece! They can also play it live in its entirety without any breaks or mistakes!

The video actually did go viral, and the band has exploded and are now everywhere, with a lot of songs and a really fast increasing fanbase. I think I just found my favorite reaction channel. I think this is one of my favorite reactions to this. The video is actually four years old, but, aside from that... Tatianna, the vocalist, describes herself as a shy, introverted geek. What you see in this video, and especially at her concerts, is her stage presence. She built up her stage presence over time, and has said without it she could never step on a stage. While I know what most people say about her growl sound, one reacter had a unique, and cool, description by saying it suddenly sounded like a thousand soldiers were roaring, rather than the typical, “she sounds like an angel... oh my goodness! Where’d that demon come from??” Also, I heard one vocal coach say the muscles she uses to make the growl are the same muscles needed to sing opera. That is why/how she can switch between gentle and growl and back so effortlessly.
