They mainly played the orchestral mix in the clubs at the time. Meant to be a rave entry with no vocal. They rerecorded it later with a vocal to commercialize it. The vocals bring the energy down throughout the song. Pure high energy throughout you would sweat to death by the end, especially when DJs mixed it into any of many other rave songs.
