Your reaction is so touching and respectful, we love Adele, no matter what!

That's so nice to learn with you the feelings that a singer feels when preforming a song like that. My wife is a singer and you helped my to better understand her! Thanks a lot!

Fabulous. As a singer, I kept rewinding to better understand the points you were making. It's like you're aware of a whole landscape that I'm only able to sense a part of. Which I think is a mark of a truly great teacher. Also, thank you for posting this even though it must have felt a bit raw. These reaction videos can be their own art, on top of the technical deep dive.

Thank you for this, Linor. I think Adele has learned to make different effects with her voice throughout her career and she utilises them really well - obviously so, as she has become so big! Whether or not this is a healthy way of singing is debatable. I’ve actually never really thought about this push and pull which is happening within Adele’s voice. It does seem like a battle which is reflected in the lyrics and melody. It’s interesting how she has chosen to only do two nights per week in her Vegas residency. Maybe this is to protect her vocal chords.

She is the best.

Wonderful critique--respectful and insightful. Adele is wonderful, but I wonder what a residency in Las Vegas will do to her vocal cords. She must be consulting with top people, but the strain is noticeable. 32 shows are scheduled with some tickets priced at $41,000. A lot of pressure.

First time I see your reactions, I really liked it. Could you please react to Lila Downs, she is a Mexican Singer. Her performance on “La llorona” is fantastic.

It's a shame that this video got only a few views. People only see what they want to see, it's a pity, but often true. Many people just see the performance, but they don't know all the hard work, challenges and problems that an artist had to face beforehand. This was a very good reaction video. I can fully feel your passion for music, you connected to Adele's performance on an emotional level and you also raised the important matter of damaged vocal chords, a topic which probably concerns every professional vocalist out there at some point. That being said, if I may introduce a new singer to you, Angelina Jordan is a young prodigy, currently 16 years of age. Her way of singing is very special. Auto-tune is hardly involved. Many vocal coaches have analyzed her performances already, you might be interested as well.

Hi, thanks for telling me about Angelina, did you see I reacted to her recently? And thank you for your kind words. I was, if anything, only more impressed and in love with Adele in view of all her hardships

@@linororen Yes, thank you, of course I've watched your reaction videos to Angelina, I enjoyed them. I hoped that this older comment would inspire you to check out that artist, but you did it anyways, regardless of my comment, so, it's a lucky coincidence! Now that you've checked out Angelina already, I just want to thank you 🙏 Btw, what's your preferred genre you sing in? Classical? Pop?

Angelina Jordan employs all the vocal abilities of Adele and a lot more with a lot more emotion, .. she is only 16 years old. Adele is a veritable singner , I can't wait to hear Angelina in a few years . By the way, Angelina sings several songs of Adele and she succeeds as well in my opinion. Have a good day. They are both fabulous signers.

She is losing her voice. A lot of the previous power and quality has gone. She has not looked after her voice or trained it properly. It's not a tragedy - it was avoidable.
@scrimpyhen4283 Жыл бұрын
shes not. her vocal technique is a lot healthier now than it ever was and the power and quality is 100% still there
