One Piece is legendary in 2000. Yugioh and HxH are good too. Yugioh was better in English though. Same for Yu Yu Hakusho’s opening. In 2001 InuYasha was the correct pick. 2003 Naruto was the best and that was the best opening in the entire series including Shippuden. 2004 Bleach was the best on that list but Bleach had better ones than Asterisk. 2005 Eureka 7 was the best but Blood+ is very close. I actually think Eureka 7 might be the best opening ever. 2006 One Piece was the best closely followed by Death Note. Ergo Proxy is one of the best sleeper hidden gem anime ever. 2007 Darker than Black was best. Best show that year and best opening on this list. Wasn’t a fan of the reggae Naruto opening. 2008 I’m going with One Piece. Whoever made this list has a hard on for Naruto and One Piece. 2009 FMA Brotherhood. 2010 for sure the second Bleach opening. One of the best in history. 2011 One Piece. This guy really has a hard on for One Piece and Naruto. Bruh. 2012 Hunter X Hunter. 2013 AOT. 2014 Tokyo Ghoul. 2015 Fairy Tail 2016. Mob Psycho for sure. 2017 Attack on Titan. 2018 Black Clover. Also one of the best openings ever. 2019 Fire Force. 2020 Black Clover. That was a weak year. Don’t love the high pitch voice but it was better than the others. 2022 Call of the Night. But that said COTN had an even better ending song that was so good i couldn’t skip it. I watched it in its entirety every time. 2023 how did they forget Bleach Thousand Year Blood War? Thats easily the biggest thing to happen that year after an 11 year hiatus. 2024 once again… how did they forget Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest? Thats like a 6 year hiatus.

I swear to god I’m crying while doing this but here is my list with some rankings too to piss u guys off (it’s in order btw and all the letters i don’t mention are the ones that don’t even compete in their respective year) -B (the rest idc so much) -B (stomp here) -Honestly? i didn’t even watched this show but the valse in princess tutu won here -F, then E, than B (this opening was present in my childhood on that rpg sonic game, it marked me forever) -C then F (idk why i like elfen lied so much, but that shit is a banger) -i agree with the dude in the chat, i pass all that 6 -this one is hard as fuck, i love those 4, but F, then C then B then E -Easy B -Easy D -I love those 2, but E then C -F then B (didn’t watch bleach but those are bangers) -D, then B, then F (those 3 are pure banger and it was very hard between B and D) -At first i thought i was going to pick nisemonogatari over anything cause monogatari is my second fav anime, but hxh is my fav so it’s D, then B, then E, then F (probably D, E and F are 10/10 bur im bias towards monogatari) -B, then D then E (even being bias those 2 are like 11/10) -2014 wtf was that, F, then E, then D then C (this shigatsu opening literally made me start playing piano, unravel is unravel and i prefer ngnl op over silhouette) -D, then C then E (all bangers but brave shine hits different) -F, then E then A (hikari are is so good) -Easy E, but konosuba one is good second too -wtf was that year like, fighting gold is so fucking good, but black rover is probably in my top 10 (if it isn’t top 5) so D, then C then A -Until now 2019 is the best year BY FAR literally all of them are at least great (and probably mukanjyo and the domestic girlfriend one being in my top 15 at least, so here we have it: D, then F, then C, then A then E then B -Easy B win (probably top 3, but i’m always swtiching), Daddy daddy do is perfect but it’s second here, then F, then E (obs i hate rent a girlfriend but the op is very good) then C -I ABSURDELY LOVE YOASOBI so: E, then A, then F, then C then B -C is probably my fav anime op ever, then F, then A, then D all of them are VERY good -YOASOBI STOMPS HARD HERE, then C, then F -mashle stomps here but i also love both frieren ops cause i love both yoasobi and yorushika, so Frieren no 2 That’s it, some years were easy, but others like 2006, 2014 and 2019 (the hardest one) were tough

Still mad they didn't add "Dying Wish" from Moriarty the Patriot in 2020, it was the best opening in the year. It had everything, lyrics, performance, visuals, direction instrumentals and a vibe that perfectly set the vibe for the anime (which already is probably one of the anime with the most immersive setting and vibe of all time). Every part of it was 100/10. They should have added "Scar" from Bleach in 2022 as well, although I'm not sure if it would've won.
