​​@@K1ngBardnah they won't, the weapons that will appear on the new banner are all 5* weapons while the free ones from the events are all 4* I miss the first event with a free weapon during 1.2 which was a free sword(the name is Festering Desire) and Albedo was also in it and to this day I still don't have a Festering Desire as they haven't had a rerun of that event.

many think they should bring back those event weapons in the monthly shop i think they right also, they should finally ad those event storys into the log so even new players can at least read trough them, ALSO they should add the cutscenes into the log

It's so funny to me, how they pick lines and paint an entire thing where it looks like it's all part of the same scene and then you go in game and the lines are so separate from each other and in a vastly different context, I've been effectively bamboozled Unreconciled stars is an event that was SO important to the lore, it's the first aparece of scaramouche and other secrets. It's wildly disappointing that they don't give us the opportunity for new players to experience them. I started playing in 2.1 so I missed a lot... Unfortunately that's the tactic they use to make you play every day, the fear of missing out 5:02 yeah many cutscenes you'll see are from limited events you'll never get to experience, limited time weapons that we'll never get because the events that have them will never return That's why I don't look at past version trailers... Because yes... We did miss things 16:57 ah the golden apple archipelago, it did have a rerun right before Sumeru, but it wasn't the same story, it was a fun place to explore many many many chests, it managed to get both klee and Kazuha 32:27 unfortunately most of Albedo's lore come from these limited time events, even his best weapon is a limited 4* weapon they have in this exact event. His story quest is literally nothing compared to all of those Dragonspine events 46:08 wait, this is the part you're currently playing, but we're only halfway through the video! No KB! Only spoilers lie ahead!😨 Oh no! The spoilers! And with this were caught up... So many spoilers, being honest some things were best if you didn't expect them, but it's not like the scenes will lose that much impact, but still... the bling reaction would be way more genuine Can't wait for you to experience he rest of the story, they just keep getting better

Hi Platinum! I had a lot of fun watching these trailers but they do make me sad that I missed out on a lot of these events because oh my goodness do they look intense! I had a feeling that there would be some spoilers watching these but thankfully no major spoilers. Seeing the Wanderer in that giant robot was terrifying and I am afraid for when that moment comes lol. It has been an amazing journey so far and I can't wait to keep continuing this journey.

The sword in the 1.2 trailer is called Festering Desire, and it's the only event weapon I didn't get, 'cause I joined the game during that version but didn't finish the Prologue story in time to get access to the event. T^T

On the one hand, these are fun to watch, and thank you for the video! But I am sorry to say that Genshin has had a lot of limited events, like the stuff with Albedo, and newer players like us can’t go back and play those. Maybe someday they’ll change that. But all we can do is watch videos online from people who have played the events. We can’t access those events for ourselves.

You're right that sucks and i think the reason they remove those events is because of mobile players since each event has like 10gb or more of voices and assests

If a replay system was to be implemented they would have to have event packages your download to start the quest, then after finishing the assets get deleted.​ It's basically what they do for limited events anyway, once it's done they remove all unique assets, scripts, etc from the game. I think at least for mobile users this should be implemented for main quests, meaning no voice lines in the archive, but it's a compromise. A small savings since most of the 3d assets and map remain and you're mostly removing voices, low bitrate FMVs, scripting for in game cutscenes.@@N5FX

The dragonspine cutscene is sadly from an old event..... I really wish they made it permanent. It gives big lore. You should watch videos on it in the future

OH I AM HERE FOR THIS. also i apologize in advance for the long comment 5:57 - This is domain on Dragonspine for 2 artifact sets. And most of this footage is just from Dragonspine in general. You're not really missing anything. If you have Hydro or Cryo characters you're starting to build, this would be the domain for you. (As a Childe main, i know this domain well ) BTW most of the footage is just from exploring or doing a world quest in Dragonspine, while SOME of it is from an event that is no longer available. Maybe there's some lines from Albedo's story quest? But that's it. 9:56 - In truth we don't know whether the Windblume festival is coming back. players are really hoping, though. It's the only other festival (besides Lantern Rite) that's had a rerun, but that was after skipping a year. (Got one in 2021, not in 2022, but then again in 2023) 10:46 - These are actually Hangouts! You can still play them, as they're permanently in your Quests menu (under hangouts) It's a really good way to get to know 4*s, especially ones that never appear in story, or only in limited events. (Like my boy Chongyun ) fun fact: That lyre you see for the music mini game can be purchased in Mond. All past instruments can, whether you were there for the event or not 16:57 - The Archipelago! This is a recurring event for summer. This location was used twice, but in 2023 a new location was used for the summer event. Another fun fact: This was the patch I started playing in! Also 17:10 - the summer event is used to hint at the new region coming up. So the boat was here because it was going to be a new feature in Inazuma. The 2023 event actually helped players figure out part of the Fontaine plot before Fontaine dropped in the next patch (players were excited when they found out they were right. So fun theorizing) 18:23 - Yes, he's in Inazuma. You can fight him at any time. 27:34 - Moonchase was only once. It was a cute event, but was basically just a mini-lantern rite. While cute, it doesn't need to come back. however, this was the event where we learned that Guoba was a god and that Xingqiu likes to read romance novels/poetry to Chongyun. And that Xiao will appear instantly if Traveler calls for him, but he won't respond if it Paimon. Ahhh 2.2 one of my FAVORITE patches. It's the first time we got characters going to different nations. (Xinyan went to Inazuma.) It made me like Childe a bit more, and started the running FANDOM gag of Childe being besties with Pyro users. The Labyrinth event and challenges were fun. I think they should replace the Spiral Abyss with the domain in this event. 2.3 - Literally one of the best patches, and one of the best limited time events. It should've been a permanent story quest. Please go watch the cutscene from it sometime. No, you know what. Find a playthrough or something on KZbin. You NEED to witness this story. I WISH this was Albedo's story quest, as you get so much information about him here. 35:28 - There's a bunch of world quests there that just expand upon the lore of Teyvat. I wish they would do more with Enkonomiya. There was a neat limited time event there, where Enjou gets spoken lines and absolutely steals the show, but that's about it. 49:38 - That is a 12 hour Gnome People world quest. good luck. Parade of Providence was an amazing quest, and should have been permanent. When you're done with sumeru, please watch the cutscene from it. You'll love it. 1:17:18 - lmao i love your reaction to Childe showing up. Another fun fact: This trailer was debuted at some Hoyo events overseas, and you can find videos of the crowds absolutely losing it over when Childe shows up. 1:25:40 - If you have Childe as a character, you know who this is. If you don't have Childe, then you'll have to wait Lore enthusiasts and Childe fans have been waiting for her. We're all caught up! I'm so happy you made this video. Can't wait for you to experience Sumeru and Fontaine!

4.2's trailer constantly lingers in the back of my mind even to this day. masquerade of the guilty, in my opinion, is the best archon quest as of currently. i remember when i first watched the trailer, it was just 4 days before the update but i felt like i was going crazy waiting for it all the same !

Nice! The trailers are always amazing especially 3.0 and 4.0! As a lot of people already said, multiple cutscenes were from events, so it’s sad that they’re gone😢 Watching the 3.0 trailer made me realized that you never had to wait for Dendro characters since our first dendro characters were Collei and Tighnari who were released in 3.0. Before that, dendro never really existed in any form of gameplay except for the slimes

the cutscenes in the events are not the same as his story quest, unfortunately. those two events were, however, his story quest. idk why they turned it into an event that no new players can play, it's just plain stupid. the event was about albedo's origin and the "other” albedo. kinda uhh not twin, but a failed albedo. long story short, their creator, rhinedottir (code name R), created many abyss creatures including albedo, the other albedo, durin, elynas, the riftwolves and many more. sadly, only albedo survived (as far as we know). rhinedottir is one of the hexenzirkel member (klee's mom, alice's organization). the hexenzirkel (or "witch's circle") plays a massive part in genshin as well. we don't know what they actually are, but the only thing we know is that they are very very powerful witches. their lore were mostly in mondstadt's past events and recently, spoiler: one of the hexenzirkel member was involved in sumeru's and fontaine's archon quest. too bad you weren't able to be there during the golden apple archipelago. it was a very fun map and it only existed in two summer only. and last year's summer event in bottleland as well.

A lot of these trailers include a lot of cutscenes from limited events which is not available in game anymore. It's unfortunate for new players because the events also include a lot of lore especially the festival events. Aside from festivals, my favorite events are the Albedo events because I think they're more like his story quest. Another favorite of mine is the Parade of Providence patch because it was a competition with Sumeru characters. It was a fun event and kind of like a Kaveh quest. The summer events are always good, too! It's a patch that comes before a new nation comes out. It always has a new limited area and kind of gives hints about what we're going to see on the next nation or hints about the next archon quests. The unfamiliar areas that you saw from the trailers are actually limited areas. The first two years, we had the Golden Apple Archipelago while last year, we had the Veluriyam Mirage. A lot of people thought 4.5 is going to be Windblume because I think it's that time of the year again. But after watching the trailer, it doesn't look like it's Windblume. After you do all quests in game, if you have time, maybe you'd like to watch and react to some past events. You will surely enjoy it... especially the events with Cyno 😂

A lot of the visuals, lore and bosses are from world quests as well. If you're F2P, it is quite essential to do them because they give you tons of freemos, craftable weapons and stuff.

Hey KB!!! You finally done them 😁 I know you waited long to do it. Albedo lore is often hidden in limited time events, unfortunaly we cant play it again. His weapon also is locked to one. But luck is ob our side, bcs with the new banner we should get the oppurtunity to get it...I hope. And even if they not include it, Chiori's weapon has quite the same stats, so it is a option too. The Scene with Bennett, Eula and the snowman is from Albedos character quest. Speaking about those: please remember to collect the keys for the character quest and unlock them. Even you dont play it right away, you wouldent loose them. You can only collect 3 at the time while playing and it would be pitty if you loose them bcs you dont know. The big puppet on the strings is called Mangu Kenki and it is the Boss you need to fight if you are building Kazuha. He has his assencion materials. You can find it in Inazuma. As always, there is no need to rush trough the game. Take your time to level up, to explore, to do character quests. All this stuff makes the game a more greater experience. Enkanomiya is a good example. I complete it and wow, that was a eye opener! You can find the Book "Sun and Moon" that reveals much of Teyvats hidden or forgotten history. It is a huuuuge lore drop and belive me, you just don't wanna miss it 😉 This is a lil more text then I intented lol Enjoyed your reaction as always. Please stay so amazing and nice as you are! Many events are one-offs and not available to new players. Lantern Rite, WIndblume festival, the Albedo quest on Dragonspine, Theatre Mechanicus game, Golden Archipelago summer event etc. It would be good if they allowed access to these, but maybe the file size would be difficult for mobile players? The advantage to starting later is that you have the whole map available whereas we used to have to wait for new stuff and run out of things to do. And that battle event with Childe was great fun - much better than Spiral Abyss and we hoped that would be a permanent end game event, but no...

They could have the ability to temporarily download all the needed quest assets and data for one at a time. But they'd have to maintain all of that and the cost of the download server and bandwidth. Assuming they didn't delete old stuff at the studio for these events. Technically the limited events already are temporary and removed when they expire, so the difference is having to maintain it on a server and allow newer players to download it at a different time. With Star rail having the ability to play limited events, I assume they do something like this.

(especially since they're not even in the openworld teyvat) the events (if made accessible) would still be a one-time thing too so i don't think this is about storage space. i think, if ever they plan to make them accessible, they plan to do it later so they can still milk the FOMO effect.

I get that it's probably a good decision to do these kind of reactions as a content creator, but i myself don't watch the trailers until i've done the content of the patch because they just spoil so much. They do a decent job at editing together visuals and voiceover that the story itself isn't totally spoiled (they're sometimes even purposefully misleading), but not knowing which Character is going to show up out of the blue and what the big bad boss of the patch is going to look like and what new places we're going to visit etc just does so much to keep me on my toes and invested. Maybe it's just me, but i began enjoying the patches way more once i stopped watching the trailers beforehand.

The early trailers really make me wish I had played Genshin sooner. It is disheartening to miss out on them 😢, but it's good know that there are ways to still see them. I've recently watched the Midsummer Island Adventure event here on yt, 16:20, and it was a cute story with Klee, Traveler and some of the Mondstadt characters. Got to know more about them. I plan to do that with all the early events, make it a Genshin movie night. Also that boss in the Midsummer trailer, you can face him in Inazuma, he is pretty challenging.

It's crucial that you know these stories to get full context Unreconciled Stars event: Violets of the Zephyr Garden Theirs also some characters that you don't get to know them in the main story but it fleshes them out as character in these events Fischil: Unreconciled Stars 4:24 Summer Fantasia 46:00 Xinyan: The Perilous labyrinth in the fog: 29:06 Summer Fantasia 46:00 Albedo: Its best to do Albedo's story quest, before you get to watch the event story Chalk Prince and the Dragon: 6:33 Shadow Admist the snowstorm: 32:47 Fun fact: Everyone LOVED the gameplay of that event since its a rogue like event, it uses around 18 characters and you get to rotate teams on and those who participated can get the shikifudo the little paper that fly. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get a chance to play since that time my account was hacked and didn't get to play the event, but the time Quick event wasn't implemented till Ver. 2.6 and requires you to finish the inazuma archon quest. Some suggest that this was an experiment run for simulated universe for Honkai Star Rail. A shame because they could easily turn this to a permanent event if they could try, but to maintain the story telling it would seem kinda pointless, since in Simulated Universe they can get away for telling stories for the Aeons and the....DLC for simulated universe For the Enkanomiya 39:00 That was the first exploration event that happened during this version, the three gateways opening. It was a unique concept and the story telling is very dark and it shows about the vishaps For the unreconciled stars, I highly recommend you watch catwithbluehats video if you wanna see the summary of the event, but its also good to see the full story event on youtube. For the event story like the moonchase, the weilesefest, the perilous labyrinth, it would be interesting to see you react to these videos, or you can watch them at your own time. Its a shame they don't have the option like Star rail's downloading events on your phone, but at the time mobile players will suffer due to storage cocnerns which is a valid concern, and those event weapons are now gone.

I started playing the game when 2.1 came out. I barely made it in time to do the Moonchase festival lol. Got some interesting lore out of it around Gouba. He's also a god too. That festival was the only time it was revealed. I can't quite remember, but it's connected to cooking, which is why he's a good match for Xiangling. @28:09- I want to mention this moment because I am made I missed it (I was taking my first break at the time lol). I told you I was a XiaoLumi shipper right? Well this event added more fuel to that fire because the song that Xiao is playing, it's called Lover's Oath. In fact you first hear this song when you first meet Xiao. So yeah lol. I know Hoyoverse will probably never make this ship canon, but it certainly feels like they do ship it lol. @32:48- Oi, it's a darn shame that most quests connected to Albedo are limited time because he ends up being very important to Genshin Lore. Just a fair warning, when you get to Fontaine, expect to be spoiled about Albedo's past at some point. I'll remind you again when you get close. But what happened here was there was a 'fake' Albedo in this timed event. As others said, I recommend watching footage about Albedo's quests. He does have a story quest, but none of that footage is scene here. This one quest really should have been an Albedo story quest. @44:50- Heizou is sadly one of those chars that doesn't get ANY love. He never appears in the main story and I've yet to meet him in any side-story yet, at least the ones I've played. He does have a Hangout though but I haven't done any hangouts. Hangouts are like 4 star story quests, you find them in the same area as the 5 star story quests. LOL 2.8 was the Summer event. Yeah Fischl likes to LARP (Live Action Role Play) 24/7 lol. Her real name is actually Amy and she loved stories so much she decided to act out on her own. Her raven companion Oz, often plays "interpreter". Still Fischl is one of the best 4 stars in the game lol. But yeah those locations you saw were 'dreams' that catered to the 4 chars that appeared in this timed event. What's cool about the Summer events is that a WHOLE new area is created specifically for the event and it vanishes after that version is done. Also one thing, at the end of the story, you actually hear Nahida's voice. One important thing about when Sumeru dropped, it brought the Dendro element with it, which really changed up landscape of gameplay. Even though many people still consider Hydro the best element in the game (due to it's versatility with other elements), Dendro is up there and it made Electro much more important too. I do follow Cyno's VA, Alejandro Saab, on youtube. And he said that when the Teyvat Preview trailer dropped, the moment he saw Cyno there, he wanted to play him and his wish came true. You remember reacting to that trailer right? @58:21- LOL you'll find out when you get to that point lol. I personally hate fighting this thing, but I need to fight it to get something to level up Alhaitham's talents oi. So far for me he was the hardest boss in the game. Last years Lantern rite was amazing. If you're going to watch any previous Lantern rite footage, THAT be the one, especially the ending for it's one of the funniest moments in the game and the reason why I was so mad at myself for missing it lol. 3.8 Was easily one of my fav events because the Summer area was a LOT of fun. Yeah that Rollercoaster ride was my fav mini-game lol. It did a great job setting up Fontaine. It was like it combined the dream theme of Sumeru with settings of Fontaine. You heard the main NPC of that event, the "Mascot". She's the friend that Klee's mother mentions in her letter to Klee. She's actually connected to a previous Hydro Archon. So yeah DEFINITELY do the Summer event if you want to get Hyped for Natlan lol. 4.8 is supposed to drop some time in mid-July, I think. LOL, if you think Sumeru's Archon quest is wild, wait until you get to Fontaine. I hope your brain is able to handle all of the lore bombs that get dropped between Sumeru and Fontaine. And comparing it to Harry Potter with how the story starts light but gets darker over time, yeah that's a great comparison. Here's how I compare the Chapters of the Archon quest- Mondstadt is the intro Liyue and Inazuma are the build ups Sumeru and Fontaine are the turning points Natlan and Sneznahya will be the Climax and Fallout The last chapter will be the conclusion (and end with a big bang lol). I DON'T thing Genshin will end when the main story is over. I do have a theory we'll get more Story Quests after that because I want to see the fallout, especially for the Archons. We'll see how much content gets dropped though.

As much as you hate Dragonspine, it was a magical experience for near launch players because it was released in December. So it was cozy. Also, they like to mix and match cutscenes from limited time events and actual story so you can't guess what's going on. Or new bosses or domains. The Chalk Prince and the Dragon was a limited time event where they introduced Dragonspine as the new region, usually limited events focus on new regions that are released at the same time. Also want to point out there's a cooking event at the Wangshu Inn going on right now. Not sure if it's over. But every patch typically has a flagship event like the Lantern Rite, but there's still small events going on like at Wangshuu Inn or Itto's beetle battles lol

Sorry for my long ass comment... was commenting these as I watch along lol You'd get to experience some of these bosses and lil scenes and places you haven't seen before if you actually do some exploring and do some world quests. The world of Teyvat has a lot of neat places and secrets. I'm surprised you haven't seen the Maguu Kenki before (samurai puppet boss)... its been in Inazuma this whole time. you can check out the world bosses via your Adventurer's handbook. The Spiral Abyss is where the "hard" content is at. Plus all the primos you can get from it bi-weekly is not so bad. I do wish they'd spice up its gameplay some more. It's pretty boring. I only do it for the primos. As for the Albedo thing, he has his own story quest + two big story events that was released in 1.2 and 2.3. These quests are really great and lore packed. It's a shame it's limited time only. He has also appeared in multiple events already. The Wanderer is essentially the same as the Raiden Shogun Puppet since he was also a creation of Ei for the sole purpose of holding the gnosis. Yae Miko mentioned this at the end of Inazuma so I'm not actually spoiling anything. Except, the difference between him and the Shogun puppet is that he's been enhanced by the Fatui and now also made into an artificial god. We know how strong Ei's puppets are as seen by in Ei's story quest two where she fought her own puppet for 500 yrs. Scaramouche is basically a super enhanced version of the Shogun puppet now. Oooh I bet you'll love that cutscene between Childe and Neuvi. Ngl it made me laugh so hard. That's all I'm gonna say. ;) You also finally got a glimpse of Arlechinno too. I'm telling you that lady is intimidating af.

So yeah, I highly recommend reacting to or at least watching full playthroughs of all the flagship events. You can just type "[event name] full event no commentary" and someone will have uploaded them all. It will greatly enhance your appreciation for the depth of the story and characters. Particularly characters like Albedo, Fischl, Xinyan, etc., who have barely any or even no permanent content featuring them in the game. As someone who started playing in 3.4, I don't think I would love the game or certain characters nearly as much if I hadn't gone back and done this. I can provide a list of all the events if you're interested. Windblume doesn't come every year unfortunately. It looks like we're not getting it this year, but at least the event is still Mondstadt themed. The mysterious bit at the end of the 2.2 trailer was Tsurumi Island. It has one of the best quests in the game and I can't wait to see you do it.

While theres definitely spoilers mixed in a lot of them, the trailers are a blend of Archon quests, world quests, story quest and event quests to the point that unless you play them you really wouldnt know which is which! Though its really a shame for the events because a lot of them were amazing or had cool maps like the summer events but players who join later never get to play it, i love Albedo but missed the events he was in and its awful cause it had some of the craziest lore drops too and its only because im invested in his character i researched/watched videos of those events otherwise i wouldnt have known D:

re Spiral Abyss. I liked Breath of the Wild's Trial of the Sword. A sequence of rooms with natural environment .. you start with nothing and gradually progress (or not) by battling enemies and taking their weapons while making use of, or being damaged by, the environment .. no time constraint. I found that a captivating challenge. Spiral Abyss is all about being overpowered before you go in ... which means domain grinding for materials .. and then button mashing battles - that's my perspective. I'm not to keen on the Spiral Abyss.
