Hi, just sending some extra info on cookie. In Korea "baking cookies" is another term or double meaning for CD or makinig music, that's why you sometimes see cookies or CDs in the video. When they say that when you taste it you'll get hooked on it, it just means that once your hear their music you'll get hooked on new jeans.

@@startledchicken1939 i understand why you feel uncomfortable but personally when I first read the lyrics I viewed it as innocent little girls baking cookies for their crushes. When I heard of the double meaning about CDs, the CD in the mv made sense. I think it's just a difference of perspective, that even though I knew what cookie meant it did not register as sexual at first watch or the few after. Your views are valid but lets not deny the CDs that are all around the mv or the meaning it has in Korea, way before anyone pointed out the sexuality or the company gave their side on the issue.

Kpop has its own standard for that kind of English lyrics. never put Kpop into a pigeonhole with your lewd eyes. Korea is not like your country.

Loved your reaction, first time watching you and you seem so real I loved it :) and about NewJeans, yeah, about their stage presence they are all ridiculously powerful and have such amazing stage presence at their age, it's absolutely crazy... they don't seem like rookies AT ALL, especially Hyein (the one you said she has amazing stage presence, and she's only 14-15!!! DAMN!!! just imagine in 2 more years how good she's gonna get... it's ridiculous how good she already is) and Danielle (the one you were mesmerized by... and what can I say, I don't blame you I understand you perfectly because she has that presence and that smiley face that can make your day a better day, she has that "born-to-be idol" factor). My bias is Haerin, the one doing the center part and the cool part of the start of both chorus in Hype Boy, the cat-like one hahaha ^^ because she's a complete introvert like me and she has amazing stage energy and to me has been the one who improved the most, she's now a sensation after their "tell me" by SNSD cover (I recommend you to watch it).
