Jennifer interrupts the videos just as often, if not more than many of the vocal analysis reactors, but manages to keep the flow of the song going. This allows both the watcher & fan to appreciate the analysis & the song at the same time, without becoming annoyed by the interruptions. It's a fine balance that other channels should learn & benefit from. Jen's reactions are often my favorite of my favorites.

I like the way Angelina seems a lot more animated here, perhaps more so than in any other performance that I've seen her do. A new freedom she has discovered? I don't know. I was unaware of your hacking issue but am really glad you managed to resolve it. I can imagine how stressful it was. Well done for navigating through that minefield.

All the tracks are so different yet brilliant. I was concerned she sang 14 songs in her Portsmouth concert. I believe 10 is considered a long set. There were some very challenging songs in that mix.

She actually sang 18 songs at this concert in Portsmouth, NH., which is similar to the amount she sang for her last few concerts, and let’s hope that’s the right amount to keep her voice great and her future bright! ❤

That is a lot of songs after not doing anything like that in a year. When she’s ready to go on tour she will need to plan her set list very carefully. I think if she is going to continue to do I Have Nothing she shouldn’t wait until the end of the show. It’s a very difficult and probably exhausting song to do. She should probably do it when she’s fresher.

AJ's "spoken feel" is exactly right in this performance. Elvis had the same ability to sing a story as if he was simply talking.

Some producer or whatever was asked who they remembered most able to walk into a Studio and record in one take most often, he mentioned 3 names as I recall, AJ was one of those 3.

@@103mrgThank you, they occured to me but I wasn't sure, I don't know what she is going to do, she is basically trying to get her Gen to absorb a Genre/Style that vanished around 50+ years ago Mainstream and went Underground, and I do not count Winehouse. AJ is as good as anyone who has ever bothered with it at Buttermilk Sass Jazz, and better than 98% of them, in History, but she seems almost slightly in over her head here if she wants say Adele recognition, she is Niche Boomer based, I am one of the Youngest Boomers and over 60 now, her Career cannot Root in the Boomer Gen, and this style/era her Gen isn't absorbing, she is going to have to Compromise, and turn loose the Vocal Chameleon. The Boomers will stream her Jazz lean, the Z bunch needs their Pop Mediocrity to get on board. But she is Absolutely Capable of doing both, If she has that planned she will be off and running, it isn't like she has a lot of Comparable Competition at the Grammy's, she should get 3 for the EP alone, the Grammy Artist most missed, how Ironic. MP3/Stream the Jazz Albums and do not tour them, MP3/Stream the ZPop and Tour it, if she can get any sleep.

She gives off an Amy Winehouse vibe in the first two songs of the six track 'EP', staying here in the 'Jazz/R&B' lane. From tracks three thru six, it's a whole different story as she veers into a multi-genre extravaganza of intricate, complex vocals. Her lyrics are 'deep' and 'profound' throughout the 'EP.

Jennifer! Oh my that voice! I've heard Angelina before in your reactions but she takes me by surprise every time. That vocal quality ... I try to remember where else I've heard it. Maybe a hint in Macy Gray? It's mesmerizing and captivating for sure. Love the echo effect they add in, like she's singing in a large enclosed space. She shows a vulnerable side as you say but also a touch sensual, a little Marilyn Monroe thrown in. Nice touch wearing the black dress for this stark black and white video Jen.
